Hi Apsogos,
I missed that one
i took out the 2.5 hdd into my desktop
live xp like the full xp version.
Well, a PE is not Windows (in your case xp), you will get some troubles when using on laptop........
Since you are accessing your laptop disk through your desktop, it is pretty easy to arrange things.
Follow my advice, install xp to your laptop, and make some optimizations to have it run smoothly, than backup it with image software and keep in safe place. 2nd partition of this disk %99 will do the task without need of a bootable cd/usb etc.
. (+you also may prefer keep backup at cd or desktop pc too)
So my advice is, be sure you have 2 partitions on your laptop disk, preferably 2 primary partitons (check internet - softwares - tutorials about that), make sure 2nd one is bigger or equal to 1st
get first one active,
and use WinNT Setup from JFX to get it ready to install XP

your xp installation will begin
