Hi everyone.

I'm on a mission to create a LiveXP cd here, however, during the script where it has to install the MMC portion, the program halts with this error:

Expand - Failed to copy [F:\WinSS\I386\SP1.cab] to: [%BaseDir%\Target\LiveXP\I386\System32\]

Where F:\WinSS is where I dumped my Windows XP Home Edition SP1a CD to. I haven't tried slip streaming anything yet, (although I initially copied it there via nLite) so nothing should be changed. And it isn't; I get the same result running with the actual CD as my source.

The file SP1.CAB shows up fine in the F:\WinSS\I386\ directory, (note that the extension is, by default, in upper case) while changing it to lowercase, as the MMC script requested, would still not fix the problem.

I don't honestly know why this isn't working :hi: I searched these forums, and it seems someone was able to fix the issue by disabling the FiraDisk Ramdisk driver. I've tried adding that under versions 1.12 and 1.16, neither working. Wouldn't removing this driver essentially stop LiveXP from working, though?

Basically, my question is, how can I fix this problem?

Problem was solved by slip-streaming Service Pack 3 into the source directory. Perhaps that should be mentioned for the MMC script :hi:
