Now that Hiren's Bootcd version 11.X has been released completly free of any commercial software and freeware equivalents used, any chance we can see support for it in Sardu?

That isn't 100% true because the ISO includes Mini Windows XP...

Got Hiren's MiniXP working on Sardu USB disc.
Had to look into Hiren's USB version and after couple trials figured it out.
