First thing you need to disable your firewall and antivirus, both these kind of programs tend to interact wrongly with really good WAREZ and often don't allow you to download the really good releases around.

Disabling also Anti-malware tools is obviously adviced, as these kind of programs might well deprive you of some of the experiences you can otherwise have while surfing on the internet.

Second thing you need to know some basic keywords:
  • WAREZ
  • DOWLOADZ
  • SERIALZ
  • KEYGEN

Third thing you need some fantasy, say that you want a version of XP, think about how you would name such a release if you were really l33t:
XP Pink <-Naaah, this would be for girls
Green XP <-Naaah, this would be for ecologists
Black XP <- YEAH, Black is COOL, let's try:
http://tinyurl.com/yczm8gq

YEAAAHHH look at how many results you got, this is COOL, LOL!

Now start clicking on the links you found, you will learn a lot of new keywords for further search and before or later you will find this:
http://www.ddlspot.c...z-download.html

Here you learn a new thing "Edition", this is important, try again:
http://tinyurl.com/ykv3wsk

Better, now you have yet another keyword: SP3

You get the idea by now......

Remember, the more links you click on, the more you will learn and the more are the probabilities to find a good WAREZ release.

Traditionally good releases are on filesharing sites and password protected, or on Torrent, appz that have a homepage and a normal download link are usually written by those stupid people who want actual money in exchange of their work, or by good guys that release their apps freely, and you all know that they do this because their apps suck, and they cannot sell'em.

Besides, what's the fun in getting something for free and without any risk, additionally needing to learn how to install and use them, the nice part is to get these COOL SOFTWAREZ that someone else has stolen from the bad guys, and already set up for you, this is COOL , this is EASY.

From time to time you will see that the file for which you found a link cannot be found anymore, you will read a notice similar to:

This file has ben removed for violation of Copyright.

or something to that effect.

It's a LIE, it's all part of the conspiracy to prevent you from getting all the nice things you deserve because you are COOL and really l33t, the establishment tries to fight back, repressing your desire for freedom, you should contact your local political representative and tell hime how copyright and Laws are sooo old style and that you want real freedom.

The good thing is that these stupid conventions, like protection of Intellectual Property, make the search more difficult, and thus you will have to search more, and you will find more WAREZ, and so you will have more FUN. LOL!

End of Lesson #1.

Feel free to comment your results with this approach, so that I will be able to make a "more focused" lesson #2, also if you have any specific request, post them, time permitting, I will try to expand on the topic using your requests as an example.

OMG.. we are so going to rank #1 on google for talking about WAREZ!

Forgot mentioning these special versions of Windows:

- Windows XP SP4
- Windows XP performance edition
- MiniXP

Can you make a video?

I've found this one but it could be made clearer as they don't talk about the juicy downloads.
QnsXh5kU6wA

Guess we'll rank the top google charts for weeks at the warez scene. Glad that we're not talking about nasty keywords like "terrorism", "nuclear weapons" or "al-qaeda" otherwise we might get the FBI and the InterPol on our tail.

I'll probably go to jail soon but at least our Alexa ranking will get high as a kite.. :whistling:

From the editorial / artistic point of view: :whistling:

From the practical point of view:
You now are the second Don Quichotte fighting against windmills.
(After Don Galapo and Lance Pansa, who have some troubles about a comma)

Seriously:

I would appreciate when Jaclaz came back and WITH FULL AGREEMENT BY NUNO sends warez topics to nirvana (devcon).

Maybe it would be nice to give the authors the ability to explain / correct etc.

And why does Wonko play the Internet ENTERTAINER?
Just to publish ironic / cynic etc. contents does not make much sence.

I have the feeling that in the back there is an intention which nobody understood right now.

WAREZ WAREZ WAREZ

The following story happend for real. During athens' olymbic games, in a train station, there was a very brunet male guy crying "bomb bomb bomb". Some people (greeks & tourists) considered him being a terrorist, got scared and called the police. Police arrested him. He proved to be a greek guy, more brunet than the "typical" greek , who had lost his dog, named "Bob" and was screaming "Bob bob bob" to find it. :whistling: .

The most fascinating thing about your posts, for me is always that you defend some imaginary idealistic world, which you mistake for reality.
In this world good prevails. Governments and companies always do the right thing and would never even dream about misusing their power. The little guy and a big multimillion dollar corporation have exactly the same chance in the court of law. .....

Must be really nice in this world!

The slide of boot-land can be tracked as follows:

Jaclaz steps down as Admin -> becomes Wonko the Sane -> criticised for drawing attention to warez -> raises the issue by posting commical tutorial, but nothing changes where criticism happened.

Maybe only Lancelot and Galapo think this is a shame, but this is a shame in itself too.

Regards,
Galapo.

To Wonko the Sane (jaclaz)

I thought that here is the place, that we enter from all over the world,to
learn ourself and to teach others by sharing our exprements.

I am very happy that 99% of friends are as i think.

But what is the problem ? you do not want to say ,But i think all others
know that.

You always had problem with my tutors, ofcourse not with my tutors but with
me,because i am iranian and you do not like iranians.
This is the political argument you play policies ,and you (and all other
nice friends) know this .!!!

I am not interested in policies.I am just a basic learner and teacher.I
do not like to be as you are.Because i love all people from any country,
any color ,any language, any religion. But you like just what your policy
says.

My tutor is not WAREZ,All comertial apps has serial number or some kind
of security .But this tools are free and with no protection because of
earning mony and are made by persons like me.you do not like it because
you and others like you are thinking about getting more money by making
complicated programs.and this kind of free apps makes you .....

I disagree with you. I haven't read any political/ethnic favoritism/antipathy in Wonko's posts. He has argued with anybody from all over the world if he views breaking the rules . His target is clearly anti-warez, whether he is right or not.

Shirin,
rest assured that I hold you and your work in the maximum esteem, I have nothing against Iran, nor iranians, and definitely not against you and your tutorials, for which I also expressed in the past my public appreciation, also pointing other members to your tutorials:
http://www.boot-land...?showtopic=8072

I simply tried, in the past, to make you aware how, based on the conventions we had, we would have liked on boot-land to comply with the Rules we had set, these Rules being nothing more than a code of behaviour, which includes that of not flaming other members.

Accusing me of racism, besides being against those set Rules, is both untrue and unpolite and quite frankly uncalled for.

As everyone can see, I actively tried in the past to add some additional info to your tutorials in order to better them:
http://www.boot-land...?showtopic=7904
http://www.boot-land...?showtopic=9688
http://www.boot-land...?showtopic=9737
http://www.boot-land...?showtopic=9926

Or tried to let you aware of these conventions we set:
http://www.boot-land...?showtopic=5101
http://www.boot-land...?showtopic=4757
http://www.boot-land...?showtopic=7054

Most noticeably here:
http://www.boot-land...?showtopic=8210

I see it has been of no use , that's no problem , just a little bit of my time seemingly wasted. :whistling:

Nonetheless, there is not need, nor reason to call me racist.

BTW, and JFYI, the only small things I ever "produced" are either completley free or subject to my Careware license:
http://jaclaz.alterv...s/careware.html
from which you can easily understand how much I value freedom and friendship, and how much I charge for my work and time.

To Wonko the Sane and all bootland users

I never like to bother some one.
I like every one even my enemies.!!

I do not say that i know some thing.my tutors are just my expements and most of
the tutors that i have uploaded are based on what "BootLand member's" asked me
to do by several messages and calls.

I appreciate for any helpful hints that you did with my tutors. But seeing words
like "You should be ashamed .." by bold fonts ,realy is not politely.at list in
my country the meaning of the word "ashamed" is very very bad and we tell that
to persons that are very very bad person !!!

You could say the problem by other words or by messaging me.I never thought that
the programs that i introduce may be are as you say warez.because they are free
they are published freely they do not need licence to use...and and and

Any way after my post to you,i had a message and email from one of my very good
friends in bootland, and he told me what do you mean and why these programs can
be warez.

On the other hand i never like to publish warez and help them.and if i do a mistake
or mis understanding in some topics you could punish me by informin in kindly
words (I am 55 years old ,i do not know your age but may be you are in my sun's age)

have nice times

Don't tell me I didn't try - in an extremely polite and respectful way - to let you know about the possible issues.

I did before try to "inform" you, see above.

It's not my business to "punish" you or anyone else, it's my new "mission" to point out foolishness, and I do it quite efficiently. :whistling:

You are, again, going too personal, if you do something foolish, I will tell you so, no matter if you are from Iran or from wherever else, 55 or 16, and no matter if I am from Italy or if I am your son's, your or your father's age.

You don't need to worry Shirin.

You're striving to help other people but Wonko/Jaclaz needs his daily dose of attention on the forums and this is achieved by writing or behaving in a way that causes impact on readers when no better ideas come about.

Sometimes he's right, sometimes he's wrong but the main purpose is getting attention.

It's nothing personal on you, it's just his way of having fun on the Internet.

Maybe it is only valid for engineers (I feel to be one) thinking about efficiency.

Trying to kill somebody, needs some preparation.
Just wasted time.
The result would be that after killing you do not hear him / her any more.
The same can be reached with 'Ignore'.
