Dear yggdrasil

Your site is very useful.
Why do not you extend it to have more pages? with different categories?

yggdrasil, thank you for the update. :whistling: and keep it up :ranting2: What are the changes in the new script?

After, testing the ISO, on virtual machine. I burned the DVD and tested it on vmware and it works perfectly. Thenchecked the DVD on real and virtual machines.
I got three different results.

1 I checked on my laptop (Hp pavilion DV4). It doesn't work. I just see a blank screen after seeing the first 3 line text of Aero studio. My CD drive works and I also tested the DVD for vmware. I then tested the ISO by adding it on the boot manager using EasyBCD and boot from it. It works perfectly well.
2. Then I checked on my friends' Lenovo and Comapaq laptops and it works perfectly. I also checked on few hp desktops, it works well.
3. Then lastly, I checked on Dell Studio and Inspiron laptops. The boot menu comes but when I click on each buttons, I only see grub4dos text message.
I would be glad to know the reason for the different results.
Thanks!

I found a minor “bug” :whistling: in section for: “Create New ISO-file”
Now fixed just an hour ago – please do new download :worship:

Quote: “I would be glad to know the reason for the different results.” So would I :ranting2:
Note: These problems can be related to AeroStudio and not to how ISO is built by script :unsure:
I use “Mkisofs.exe” in script, which is a very reliable ISO-builder. But I also use a different “Mkisofs.exe” in last update as I discovered some problems :ranting2:

Dear yggdrasil
Just for your information

I have found small time to test your updated "aerostudio-iso.script",
So i used it as below ,I tested the making process in Windows XP and
also in windows 7 v6.1 build 7260.
Tests was OK.
====================================
_installed Aerostudio in C:\ (C:\Aeromgr)
_Installed your "Start-kit" (yggdrasil.zip) in C:\
_Placed C:\Source as source folder

_I made my project in aerostudio to run ISO's below:
MSdart 5.0 for Windows XP ISO
MSdart 6.0 for Windows Vista ISO
MSdart 6.5 for Windows 7 ISO
KasperSky rescue disk 2008 ISO

_Placed files and ISO's needed in C:\Source
_Started winbuilder,selected "aerostudio-iso.script",gave the needed addresses
then clicked on Create iso

_after a while ISO was made in C:\Aeromgr directory

I tested the process above in windows XP and Win 7 ,test was OK.

I will definitely download your new script. Thanks for the update. :ranting2:
I didn't use your script for burning the ISO. I used Aero studio itself using the workaround Shirin gave in the first page. Aero studio only works when there is 1 folder in the source directory. :ranting2:

@Shirin

About Kaspersky
@Shirin you are a true ”life-saver” :ranting2:

I use this method to Slax as well -but then I reduce ISO from files that are extracted to the “root”.
The file that I forgot in Kaspersky was : “Livecd”
I didn’t have a clue that that one as well was needed on the root - Thanks again :ranting2:

Edit: Thanks for test done to my scripts – I really appreciate your help, as I know how much time it takes :whistling:

Regards yggdrasil
