Strange for me that two forums have a 'Forum lead by developers'

If I remember correctly, I did not see 'developers' frequently in that forum.

And the remaining forums do not have such a 'lead' entry.

Maybe it would be a good idea to give the 'lead' of the 'WinBuilder???' subforums to the real developers Nuno, Booty#1 and me.
And the other forums to '.script Developers'

as we had the spam post last week there were several occasions where i could not delte the spam due to rights, maybe the sandard forum could all be managed by script developers, so that in the case of abuse there is faster reaction...

Yes and no!
In cases of SPAM would be good if 'everybody' could delete. (How decides an individual, what is SPAM?)

But to hold the forum alive in a 'democratic' way, there really should be an 'admin architecture'

I only wanted to explain, that the Bug Tracker forum is somehow unlogic.

The developer category is specific to the bug tracker and includes all .script developers along with regular developers on the forum.

These are the relevant persons that are allowed to assign bugs, move, delete and all sort of things required to manage bugs.

--------

On the forums, .script developers already hold moderation control over most of the winbuilder related forums.

Exception made for the tutorials, community or other specific sections that are moderated by a specific person or by someone with overall admin permissions (currently myself, jaclaz and arvy)

----

In most forums there are only a few moderators with permission to delete spam posts, on our forums we all behave in a civic manner and all members above advanced level have moderation permissions.

I think that so far things have worked well in this manner, or should it be changed? :confused1:

That's theory, but as .script developer I for example cannot edit / delete a bug in WinBulder.exe - requests
Maybe you check and rearrange the permissions.

That's fully OK

Agreed, as to be seen from my previous post
