Okay, I will definitely check that out in that case. My impression was for some reason that iexpress required additional files on 9x/NT4 and therefore did not run on all such installations natively (or that they in that case needed much larger install packages). I looks like I have mixed things up with something else though...Installers created with iexpress.exe can be run on Win9X and on NT versions of Windows too
It would be great to have a smaller install package, right now the install files are 134 KB uncompressed and the install package is about 137 KB after 7-zip compression and with the 7-zip self-extractor added...

I ment the installer made in iexpress.exe will work on 9x/NT4. But I don't know if iexpress will work itself on 9x/NT4
I think it should. You need 3 files: iexpress.exe, makecab.exe and wextract.exe.

Yes, I understood that, I will not build the package on NT4 anyway, just want to support installing on it. What I meant was that I thought that install packages made with iexpress would need additional files under NT4, but that does not seem to be the case so I am going to look at this. Thank you for suggesting this!I ment the installer made in iexpress.exe will work on 9x/NT4. But I don't know if iexpress will work itself on 9x/NT4
