I installed Sardu instead of Grub4Dos. Then, I read some posts, sorry if I missed something, but I have a few remarks and requests:

- There are a lot of software supported, but I mostly miss Windows Xp and Windows 7 on a menu, provided that we have our own .iso. They don't have to be downloaded.
- If I put my images to \extra, the same files are copied again to USB, although they exist there. If it's the same file and same size, this should be skipped.
- On my USB I found \bootdisk folder with 8 .img image files, including Dban and Freedos. It's nice they're there, but they are not in the Sardu menu nor in the config files. Why? Can they be added to the menu and the config files? Do they come from Sardu or from some other image such as UBCD?
- Hiren Cd is recognized and built, although it's not in the Sardu menu. Please add it.
- Some images, such as super_grub.imz or Windows_7_32-bit_Repair_Disc.iso are on the root of USB. Can you put them to some folder, \bootdisk would be fine for all that?
- There are a lot of other files on the root of USB. Can you put them to some folder? I use this USB for my own files also.
- Please add Proxy function for Sardu for those using it, such as our company.
- Not using direct download, when I click LiveXP, I go to http://reboot.pro/forum/52/. and there is .rar file there. What to do next to have it recognized by Sardu? Also, I think that Help file links are not accurate, it's still winbuilder.net.
- When I click Win7PE, I go to http://winbuilder.ne...oad.php?view.35 and I receive an error message: "Error reported as: [6]: Unable to form a valid connection to mySQL. Please check that your e107_config.php contains the correct information."
- Sardu renames .iso to .is for those images that are unselected. Well, it's not the right method. Please solve it somehow else, maybe with some .ini file.
- How can we update or delete a single image, not to update the whole USB? Or worse, not to format USB. I disabled Kaspersky but \rescue folder remained after I updated USB. Now, I can delete that one, but I don't know if there are some more files.
- On a page http://reboot.pro/11093/ it's written "No update definitions option, you need to download the image again for newest virus definitions." for Avira. Well, it's not true? This can be updated, although I didn't test it.

Please reply item by item. Thank you.

1) A few days for the beta of SARDU with installer of Seven and XP
2) There are no controls of file presence in the support USB.I should add a check on the hash of file...
3) SARDU don't adds ISO or IMG found on the USB. You can use Extra folder making yourself the menu extra.cfg. You can not compare SARDU with UBCD. UBCD is a big software with a big Forum and a big site developped by a team, tested and betatested from thousands people. SARDU is a little software developped, tested and betatested by a person: Davide Costa. Forum hosted by reboot.pro and site, graphic....made by me. Even today I did not have feedback if it works burn ISO, a month's work.
4) Hiren's is Legal? Here if they have spoken many times with a reply: no
5-6)Should I rearrange the root.
7) How do I add a proxy? How can I test?....
8) you can disable direct download. Direct download was requested by hundreds of people.I believe a person should inform what you're downloading. Should know that PE isn't redisributable. I can't do guide for 50 iso's...
9)When I click Win7PE SARDU opens this page http://reboot.pro/forum/91/
10) After finisched SARDU with installations ...was in my roundmap
11) You can't remove single image from USB
12) That page is to be updated...

Don't forget who my job isn't in IT. I'm away from home all day. I use PC only for hobby, SARDU is one of my Hobby. I have no tools infinities. I buy the software and hardware...

Thanks again for this software and for your reply.

I'm looking forward to the new features: installer of 7 and XP, a check on the hash of file for files already on USB, rearrange the root to put files in some folders (images and other files separately please), proxy, other unselect method instead of renaming .iso to .is...

Just an idea, to test a proxy you could use FreeProxy. I have no idea how to add proxy function to Sardu, because I don't know what it's programmed in.

I will try to clarify some of my questions:

3. After using Sardu to build my previously empty USB, I found \bootdisk folder created on USB with 8 .img image files, including Dban and Freedos. It's nice they're there, but they are not in the Sardu menu nor in the config files. Why? Are they created directly by Sardu or from some other image I had in my ISO folder, such as UBCD or Hiren? Can you add them to the menu and the config files?

8-9. Since I'm behind proxy at the moment, I don't use direct download now (Both options are useful of course). When I click LiveXP or Win7PE, I go to http://reboot.pro (it's OK) and download .rar or some other file from there. What should I do next to have them recognized by Sardu and included in USB?

11 If we can't remove single image from USB, please at least write folders and files used by it on your Help pages. I mean, you could add new column "Files and Folders" besides "Utility", "Page for Download", "Name of ISO" so that we can delete that ones manually. I wouldn't like to format my whole USB once I don't need some image.

HI Boo Tim

8-9. Since I'm behind proxy at the moment, I don't use direct download now (Both options are useful of course).

When I click LiveXP or Win7PE,

I go to http://reboot.pro (it's OK) and download .rar or some other file from there.

What should I do next to have them recognized by Sardu and included in USB?

You have to build a live cd and the iso file you get after the build you copy to the sardu iso folder.

3) I should check, but I can't add to the menu SARDU everything they have UBCD, SRCD, Trinity, Hiren's

8-9)Windows PE is not redistributable. You can create your windows PE downloading wibuilder and using as source your copy of windows.

11) It's impossible. Many times I use the command *.* or name*. etc etc. Slowing things, making a huge log file...

An update:

3. It seems that \bootdisk folder with 8 .img image files is created with Systemrescuecd. So, please add them to the menu and the config files when Systemrescuecd is enabled. I would ask you anyway to include at least those disks: Dban and Freedos.

Also:
(12.) If it's possible for you, please add ReactOS Live and Boot CDs. I didn't test it, but I found that those lines should be added:
KERNEL /reactos/setupldr
APPEND initrd=/reactos/freeldr
