Done.

Let's see if Microsoft gods are pleased with this submission, bringing fair winds to arouse the Alexa ranking of reboot.pro

I do not see a benefit with the Microsoft reputation at least from the perspective of diyaudio.rs site.

I managed to put the diyaudio site on dmoz.org - and nothing specially regarding Alexa...

I put 20,000 links and nothing-I only have an increased number of robots no more live peoples...

Changing the domain name does not help in general - I tried this several times at different sites, domain name is even completely irrelevant.

Just constantly new and interesting content helps ....mood and good peoples atmosphere and the right socializing of the site - perhaps with some good cms. ;)

the rest is empty SEO talk and a waste of time for nonsense.

i can do handstand and have 30-40 max peoples online :dubbio:

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, albeit I'll consider such statement to be a blasphemy.

How can one reason with facts when faith is clearly involved on the magic gears that thrust the Alexa index? ;)

Can't you see that if we have a high Alexa rank, the gods of the Internet will be happy upon our doings and our "reputation" will live for the next 200 years. :dubbio:

As I already hinted to you I think and Mikorist confirmed my impression, that the actual usage of Alexa is by an elite of SEO's to show one another which one has it "better ranked".

But there may be any number of other decerebrated peeps around, which include lazy security managers, that already believe or soon will believe (or will find as of the most convenience to them) things such as:
http://www.microsoft...reputation.aspx

MRS is a global, cloud-based system that pulls from a variety of data sources—from both Microsoft and third parties—to determine the safety of 43 million (and increasing) Web domains and billions of Web pages in more than 80 categories such as games, criminal activity, gambling, and pornography. MRS can support up to 80,000 requests per second, or approximately 7 billion requests per day, with 95 percent coverage of the top 1 million domains and 99.5 percent accuracy.

and that will set Forefront TMG to "autopilot" and it is not clear (at least to me :dubbio:) if the "uncategorized" sites are "good" by default (which would be exceedingly stupid, even for MS) or "bad" by default (which would be exceedingly presumptuous, but not for MS).

I prefer reboot.pro to be listed among the "good" ones.

So, I guess that I will take back my previous statement and change it as follows :

Obviously it is nonsense, but much less nonsense then Alexa ranking is....

I apologize in advance with all internet major and minor deities for the inconvenience, and knowing how they can be understanding, ask respectfully for their forgiveness....

Alexa is a flawed barometer of traffic. The primary use is to compare other sites.
Any website that is rank over 100.000 is not accurately ranked at Alexa.

For small sites is insignificant parameter.

For large sites is not because for them works separately and precise measuring
which is not even cheap.
