It's a Beta (normally spelled Betta) fish. They used it in Windows 7 Beta too.Why does that origami fish look familiar to me. Did MS use a fish in the past or what am I thinking of?

VHD files can be mounted the same way, modified, saved and ejected with new modifications.

Few question about Windows To Go.
Is it a real working SO or some kind of "live" installation?
Is Win8 CP 64 version suitable for it? Why in the tutorial it is recommended only 32 bit?

Yes, real full working OS. CP 64 may work but is untested by me. 64 DP did not work.Few question about Windows To Go.

if you have a system which has bootable USB 3 port - try a USB 3 flash drive with Win8ToGo - just as fast as an internal HDD!

Yes, I have USB3 but I supposed to use eSATA, with my OCZ Vertex+ 120 gb SSD. I think (not testes yet) that transfer rate will be more or less the same, but I'm quite sure that seek time is lower with eSATA.

In x32 and x64 there are two images in each wim, one called "Professional", as expected, and another called "Core".
What is this Core version?
