I guess, the Intel graphic card goes first, the Nvidia second.
There are no Intel Windows 7 graphic card drivers.
If you boot without vga.sys, the Intel graphic card won't be activated. Black screen.
Adding Nvidia graphic card drivers won't help, they are no active because of missing Intel drivers. black screen still.

Use Windows 10 at given laptop.

Their completeley uninstalled, your just not given the option to do so in bios.
Also i found this https://drp.su/en/de...s=windows-7-x64
Also, theirs a redit form saying that Intel hd grapthics 630, are the same as the HUD ones, and the HD ones do have a driver support for windows 7 and 8.

I doubt Intel graphics at a Coffee Lake PC still.
https://msfn.org/boa...coffee-lake-pc/

Do you have a Intel *.inf file matching the Intel graphic card?

Is it possible that you could make a guide for this? Cause im clueless with whats going on. I hate to ask people but id even pay you if you could come to a discord and show me how to do it, or even team viewer that way. Your my last hope for this.

Does exist a Windows 7 driver package with a *.inf file?
May be there is a data error at drp.su.

There are 4th generation Embedded drivers, no they won't work.
https://www.intel.co...-downloads.html

Intel offers Windows 10 DCH drivers.
https://downloadcent...?product=126790

dch_igcc_win64_25.20.100.6618\iigd_dch.inf
%iCFLHALOGT2% = iCFL_w10_DS, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3E9B
iCFLHALOGT2 = "Intel® UHD Graphics 630"

There is a Windows 10 file iigd_dch.inf with a PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3E9B.
Does exist a Windows driver *.inf 7 file with a PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3E9B ?

When ever i added it to the install.wim and boot.wim theirs nv_dispi.inf that apears up in Ntlite, how ever i dont know where them files are as they never come up in the zip folder. Also another .inf file called coffelakesystem comes up too.

Does exist a Windows 7 driver package with a *.inf file?

How do you mean?

How exactly should and how am i meant to use the DCH drivers?

I dont what your saying by all that above.

I checked the files that where accesible on it, i opened them all in notepad but nothing above came in it, and i cant find the .nif coffe lake driver file that was ment to be in the intel hdu 630 file

You need to understand your PC can't run Win7 on UEFI, as cdob has said several times:

Don't use Windows 7.

Without a suitable video driver there is nothing that can be done, and I can confirm the driver for HD 630 DO NOT LOAD on UHD 630, since this forced me to use a discrete video board.

Your only chance is look more carefully on your UEFI Bios if there is something (like CSM but maybe they used another name) you didn't see, in order to let you install on a disk partitioned as MBR, (this is the way I was able to install Win7 on Coffee Lake).

And if your Bios don't have that option, there is nothing that can be done, and your only option is 10 even if you don't like it.

Yes, but if your Bios can't boot a MBR disk it will not boot.

Only after make sure your Bios is capable to boot from MBR formated disk you can install as usuall after formating it as MBR, without making any changes to the iso, just copied to the USB device, but to make sure it will be installed as legacy delete/rename on the USB bootmgr.efi and the efi folder, if you are going to make the install directly from it, but you can also use a WinPE and WinNTSetup to deploy the install.wim on the HDD.

I successfully installed Windows 7 x64 on my Acer Spin 5 laptop (8th gen i7 kaby lake, class 3 uefi, no csm, no legacy) using the guide here and a modified intel hd driver (latest for windows 7,check here: https://forum.videoh...ws-7-(no-crash)) to support vendor from uhd cards, which I signed myself using another guide and added the certificate to the library on a working windows installation on another computer (check here: http://woshub.com/ho...-windows-7-x64/ ), extracted the registry key for it (https://security.stackexchange.com/questions/133734/is-it-possible-to-put-a-certificate-as-trusted-ca-into-windows-given-only-physi ) and installed the certificate to the offline installation using reg from a windows 10 pe usb boot using "reg.exe load HKLM\loaded_Software W:\Windows\system32\config\software" to mount the registry of the offline installation, then merged the reg files for root and trustedpublishers. Don't forged to also add the following to the efi boot partition using bcdedit with "/set {default}": "loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS" and "TESTSIGNING ON" and "nointegritychecks ON". Just to be sure windows will use the modified intel uhd driver. Just wait, it should run black screen, then switch off completely, then should show checking performance of video card and then it should work further.

I've retested and it also works without "loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS" and "TESTSIGNING ON" and "nointegritychecks ON". Just be sure to sign the driver correctly and to extract and merge the registry keys of the certificate accordingly, otherwise Windows 7 won't use the Intel video driver during setup.

In my case, unfortunately, there's no way to use accelerometer sensors in 7, since win7 has no HID sensors support. Therefore I can't benefit from autorotate on my 2-1 laptop. But there is a way to rotate manually, also at the same time to adjust Cleartype accordingly, using ClearType Rotator.

Also USB type-C won't ever work, no support in 7, but I don't need that at all.

Some drivers won't install, because MS limited support of win7 for Kaby Lake, but using wufuc patch, it works perfectly. I don't use Windows Update, I just needed to have my Fingerprint driver and Thermal driver working, wufuc does the job.

Long live Windows 7!

This might be a tinny bit later, but i guess ill tell you all the issues ive been having with the guides.

First do i just fallow up to the 7th step? Where it says 7. enjoy it with full fucntion works. Or do i go with the whole entire guide?

Using the Hex editor i was confused with him saying modify the follwing bytes "modify the following two bytes into"

All i did was find was used the find feature
83 F8 13 75 43 F7 42 04 00 00 00 02

and

01 76 17 83 F9 13 75 44 F7 42 04 00 00 00 02

and then used its feature to replace both of them with 90 90, is that how it works?

I might be right in how i did it, but never harms to ask.

https://i.postimg.cc...7wB/Capture.png

My second issue, is the sigining driver guide. Im completley lost with it.

So i make a folder called driver cert as the guide asks, i also download the sdk.

But when ever i put in the second line of code it tells me i never found it

You don't have to replace all the hex values you searched for, only overwrite the following 2 bytes. It should look like this:

As for the cert part, you have to get: Windows SDK and Windows Driver Kit 7.1.0. I can't tell if it works under WIndows 8/8.1/10, I have only tested on Windows 7 using another laptop, this is also how I've done it. Maybe for this to work from under 8/8.1/10 you need something else, have no idea. As long as typing the command "cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.1\bin" in cmd takes you to the corresponding folder, than it's good. Otherwise, try Program Files without (x86), I only had a Win7 x86 to work with, so I don't know the path for Windows 7 x64.

Hey and thanks for the reply.

I managed to make the certificate using a windows 7 virtual machine, 10 must not work for some reason. But im very confused with this part

Combine the public key (.spc) and the private key (.pvk) in a single certificate file with format Personal Information Exchange (.pfx):

pvk2pfx -pvk C:\DriverCert\Drivers.pvk -pi P@ss0wrd -spc C:\DriverCert\Drivers.spc -pfx C:\DriverCert\Drivers.pfx -po P@ss0wrd

Aint got a clue on that

Also, witch files will i need to use to verify from the driver? Like witch .inf .sys and .dll

You just execute that command from cmd window, just like the others and replace "P@ss0wrd" in the command with your chosen password when you created the certificate, if you used P@ss0wrd then let it so.

I don't understand your second question. You have to modify igdumdim32.dll and igdumdim64.dll. Then simply follow the guide to sign the certificate, there you'll see how to create a catalog file and then sign it.

Pay attention to the filenames in the command, there is an error: in place from Drivers.pvk, Drivers.spc and Drivers.pfx, you have to use myDrivers.pvk, myDrivers.spc and myDrivers.pfx. That's why it says file not found. The creator of the guide made an error.
