i found a new version of ruslat.exe
RusLat Homepage
RusLat v3.0 download link
it requires dot.net 2.0
the settingsdialog doesn't work for me within the LiveCD
it only uses loaded KeyboardLayouts
you have to load more layouts manually

I personly don't think it is a good idea to use any app in a PE, which requires such a huge runtime environment as .net or Java.
And that is the second time in a few days I completely agree with you, I am starting to freak , the proabbility of such a thing to happen is approximately .
two to the power of one hundred thousand to one against. That's pretty improbable you know.
It opens the possibility that the sky will fall on our head, tomorrow AND that tomoroow will actually come!

You havn't by any chance your Infinite Improbability Drive running, do you?
Sure I have it running, that's what I'm freaking about, a SMEF (Spontaneous Massive Existence Failure) is something that can happen ANY moment!

my settings sets only the global language, where you have to restart the applications
with the tray icon (left mouse) you set the settings of the active program
the language of the shell could not be changed without restart in my tests (loosing TryIcon)
flags are shown in the tray, when the config file is at the correct location

For me, it just switches the Keyboard Layouts and those are always global and works fine without restart
The flags in the tray is another problem. The location you give in the where.txt does not exist in my XP.
The disappearing of the systray icon after restart can be solved by simply putting it in autostart.

it depends on the application
i updatet the testversion, now the settings.exe shows the path for ruslat on the bottom
you have to create them and copy the Ruslat95.xml manually

This is the GUI version.
For the command line version, get Bart's Pebuilder:
http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/
http://www.nu2.nu/do...uilder3110a.zip
Open the pebuilder3110a.zip file in any .zip compatible compression utility, navigate to \plugin\keyboard\ folder and extract keyboard.exe, that is the original command line version by Boris Mebarek
