I know not directly related to reboot.pro, but as I use this forum a lot and get such great answers from you guys - I thought I would ask this question?
Suggestion/recommendations for remote installation/deployment software
Basically looking for something to package/install apps across our enterprise network- I have obviously looked at all the well know products, but wondered if anyone had forund a less well known app that does a better job
First item I need to rollout is a customized version of Office 2010 to XP and 7 clients
Sorry if totally irrelevant to this forum - but gotta try as getting poor answers everywhere else
Cheers

Being an Advanced Member with 359 posts (at the time of making this post), does it look good to place a question in "Tutorials" sub-forum as it says "Post your tutorials here about generic Windows support, thanks! " ?

thought that was obvious? I want to remotely deploy office 2010 to 350+ machines running a mix of Windows XP and Windows 7How is it related to remote installation software?
That is just the first urgent thing to do - but it will be used to deploy various other products and updates etc across the domain

Is there any specific reason for which you want to avoid well-known features, e.g. not liking or expecting any feature?
However, though not directly related to your problem, once I used Almeza Multiset for automatic installation. You can try placing a script accessible from network on all the machines & call those scripts remotely to trigger Almeza.
