I have a deployment USB stick that we use first to boot to WinPE then we have to push F8 to goto a prompt to run a .cmd file which in turn.
Grabs PC info and adds it to SCCM after that we wait a minute or so in which we then click next and the image tasksequence gets deployed to it.
Is there a way so that you can run the .cmd file automatically then pause and get the task sequence??
Can I run a script after the deployment of the tasksequence ?
Thanks..
WinPE Boot Stick adding scripts on boot.

Of course, with "software", the answer would most probably "yes"...But I think the real question is HOW do you do it?
SO, there are certainly ways to run a cmd file as part of the boot process instead of going to a GUI shell...there are lots of pointers here.
And in that cmd, you can certainly "sleep" a given amount of time using either tricks like ping or adding a "sleep.exe" to the PE.
Not sure what you "click" at that point (especially if you are in a CMD shell) or what the "tasksequence" does, but most likely, you could run some sort of process to "watch" for it to complete, and then run an additional set of tasks.
But without a lot more specifics, not sure we can help...

Do you mean WinPE v1 (XP) or v2/v3(Vista/7)? Add an Autounattend.xml file to the USB pen if v2/v3...???
