1) Make sure you have the Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 Installed on your computer
https://www.microsof...s.aspx?id=17718
2) Download from http://dnpextensions...ases/view/64619
PKG.Extensions.dll
3) Make sure you are logged in as an administrator, otherwise step 4 will not work
4) Use Windows Explorer to open c:\windows\assembly
(Which is the .Net Global Assembly Cache (GAC))
5) Copy or drag the file PKG.Extensions.dll into the explorer window for c:\windows\assembly
The folder will have headers saying "Assembly Name", Version, Culture, Public Key Token, and Processor
You should then see under "Assembly Name" in alpha order, PGK.Extensions listed with a funny golden yellow box symbol next to it on the left (symbol for a .Net assembly)
Xboot should now work properly without this error.
6) Congratulations, you have just installed a signed .Net assembly
7) An alternate way to install the assembly is to use the command line utility GacUtil.exe, but that is beyond the scope of this discussion. You can google it if you want.
