Everyone knows the BSOD and it's noble sounding first sentence, where they claim to shut the OS down to protect your computer. Right?
Well look what dangerous threat to my computer was found!

Naah, nobodies watching me.
I just deleted a registry entry which does not exist in a PE, to get a default XP to boot up with SystemSetupInProgress=1 and it backfired big time.
Yet, interesting what M$ considers important to my computers health!
Not booting to a shell - ok.
Giving an extra big warning message - also ok.
But a BSOD? That's more than a little overkill, don't you think?

That started with XP and is coming into some 'best performed ACL' in Vista.
