Please define "normal".
Opera can download that (and anything on al_jo's site) alright, at the most "Resuming" the download is needed a couple of times (and Opera allows that).

Chrome download creates incomplete download.

Chrome download creates incomplete download.
Sure and additionally (last time I checked it) it creates (on NTFS) the ZoneIdentifier alternate data stream, but the point was only about your use of "Chrome" being defined as "normal" (implying that all the world could knew which browser you used).

Remaining polite, this is really Shameful .
How can you recover my project Win8PE_SE, change the title from Win8PE_SE to Win8PE x86, removed the autor and to make people believe that is your work. No NO NO.
I do not see any real credit given in your post, in this topic !!!
Just a little credit "hidden" at the bottom of the tutorial, mixed with a lot of guys who have not participated at all in Win8PE_SE:
Credits for the "building tools" goes to:
NightMan, YahooUK, Lancelot, JFX, sbaeder, ChrisR, Homes32, rpaz, Dera's, Rui Paz, Altorian, Pedro Le 15, Galapo, Ludovici, Vvurat, Max_Real_Qnx, 2aCD, Nikzzzz, Markus Debus
Holger Kotsch, JonF, Joshua, yamingw, Kwyjibo, NetFanTom, Peter Schlang, CTmag, Nuno Brito, Paraglider & M$.
Ok, you have added your applications package or
added audio dlls in 1 - Copy Files script. Hum: better to create a new script for the audio with the services included.
but ALL the core remains mainly my work with the great help of JFX.
A real hard work which took a lot of free time . I kept, me, the older authors by respect for them .
Again, you can not get all that work like this .
Shame.jpg 103.02KB 20 downloads
If you want to share your application package and other things for Win8PE_SE.
Please, give a link to the true project, give credit and share your project apps as a supplement, an addition .
You can use Share Scripts, that you removed, to easily share your project with Win8PESE.
I hope not to come back here again for that kind of unpleasant thing .
Edit: A positive thing, this is the result of some success that I share for free .

I hope you two get this credit thing taken care of before it erupts into yet another battle, we don't need any more fragmentation in the WinBuilder community.
The build is pretty good. It builds fast and is pretty lean. One thing that I don't like is that most of the scripts have no description and very few options. I like to arrange my Start Menu a little differently and very few scripts have any menu options. These can be hand edited but most other projects scripts have options in the interface.
Good work, the other Win8PE project I tried has some real issues and makes a pretty large ISO, I like to keep mine fairly lean as I use them for backup and recovery issues.

How can you say that, the base is really the same.
This is wrong , you can check,
@ChrisR
Sorry if you are upset.
Thought I made it very clear in the guide that I’m the maker of the 100 application scripts and other people is behind the building tools (although I’ve modified some of them).
There are links in the guide to pscEx work (winbuilder.exe), Holger Kotsch work (PEnetwork), Nuno Brito's work (the original winbuilder.exe author), Paraglider' work ( the maker of many useful tools) and also, of course, your forum (oventhe). If it’s not enough and more people think there is something “wrong” here, I’ll delete it all.
But I’m quoting from the small guide again:
“Credits for the "building tools" goes to:
NightMan, YahooUK, Lancelot, JFX, sbaeder, ChrisR (theoven), Homes32, rpaz, Dera's, Rui Paz, Altorian, Pedro Le 15, Galapo, Ludovici, Vvurat, Max_Real_Qnx, 2aCD, Nikzzzz, Markus Debus, Holger Kotsch, JonF, Joshua, yamingw, Kwyjibo, NetFanTom, Peter Schlang, CTmag, Nuno Brito, Paraglider & M$.“
Yes, remove the link.
There is something “wrong” here in the presentation.
No explicit credit to my work to Win8PE_SE.
Just some credit "hidden" in your small guide, few people read to the very end, nothing here.
Presented as this is simply shameful, without using most vulgar words.
What you changed in the core :
- the title, the author of the main script, Bravo.
- some audio dll added in 1-files.Script.
- removed one or two script.
- your application package, only positive point
That's ALL !!!
The admins lets do this kind of thing !!!
There is no longer any ethical in this small PE community which does not allready goes very well.
If you want to share it, be clear in the presentation, and do it as suggested above.
The idea of a complementary package seems better, NO.

@ChrisRI have now made some adjustments here and here. Ok?
NOT
Do not be stupid, purposely :
- why Win8PE and not Win8PE_SE
- Why NightMan in first position, in bold and underlined, he did not participate here.
1) leave script.project, as it was, without changing the title, remove the authors, the links. As it is.
2) clearly indicates the source on your first post and your tutorial:
- based on ChrisR's Win8PE_SE project slightly modified by you & 100 app scripts.
- Credits for the Win8PESE "building tools" goes to: ChrisR, JFX, Lancelot, ...
Other alternative, share your application project outside of the base explaining how to use it with Win8PESE.
If you're not ready to be clear, cooperating and respectful, as it should, then removes ALL. This is valid for your next package.

By "the other" Win PE 8 project I was refering to the one from The Oven, is this too based on ChrisR's work? I thought that it was based on someone else's work.
The resultant ISO for the project from the Oven (whomever wrote it) was considerably larger than this produced, there appears to be more cruft in the base build.
So sorry if I offended, whoever wrote the base build, thanks!

The updated link (last post) sends me to your page, where I downloaded and installed the Free Download Manager, but the link to the "packaje" is not working (using download manager or not).

Nothing resolved by Al_Jo,
The base used is purely and simply a copy of Win8PE_SE
(http://www.msfn.org/...1226-win8pe-se/ - w8pese.cwcodes.net - the Oven)
Worse it is hidden by changing the title, the authors of the main script.
Without reference, without credit, nothing, as it is usually done.
To make believe that it is his job. A steal.
There is no copyright unfortunately.
It is simply an act of piracy, It is intolerable, I am shocked and really sad.
I am alone to be shocked, no admins reaction or others, whatever our relations.
It is a shame for the small PE community.

I agree too - you should always mention the original authors and references - after all the hard work they put in for free, the least one can do is give credit where it is due. I will just ignore this thread (especially as he uses the HP Format Tool to format the USB drive with and not RMPrepUSB!).

Instead of putting donate buttons in all of the apps interfaces, maybe you should use the the awesome script creator tools included in Win8PE_SE. They can create really nice interfaces for your portable scripts, etc. Question, is that Malwarebytes the same Portable AppZ WAREZ you included in your copied Win7PE?
