Hmmm, is the Documentation out of date? :(
from http://www1.mager.or...sfs/mkdosfs.txt

BUGS
mkdosfs can not create bootable filesystems. This isn't as easy as you
might think at first glance for various reasons and has been discussed
a lot already. mkdosfs simply will not support it :)

You have to correct the bootsector manually anyway (or use the shareware Winimage) or use DOS and a program like DCOPY. (DCOPYNT has NOT this feature)

Again, using one of the Roadkil's utility, Boot Builder:
http://www.roadkil.n...php?ProgramID=3
you can correct the values.

And this bring you right back to square #1 (no, I'm joking, just to post #8  ) where I pointed you to this thread:
http://www.911cd.net...showtopic=11096

Now, behave, do your homework, read it and check ALL the linked apps.

While you are there check this one also:

Hi Jaclaz,

:) Well there's little O'le me thinking I found something useful to contribute LOL!

Now, behave, do your homework, read it and check ALL the linked apps.

"Deja Vu", Funny thing when I was in school the teachers in class used to say that to me, good job you are there could have sent some poor unfortunate souls on a wild goose chase. :( I now see the error of my ways in a practical sense. Those teachers were just trying to help LOL!

N.B. Anyway, everyone in the house, make sure you "DOO" what Jaclaz says & disregard the stuff I posted. It's useful however to know that you can go beyond the 1.44Mb limit even if a little engineering is involved

Stands corrected, (Many Thanks Jaclaz) I will Buzz Off Now!

Mucho regards Everyone,

ispy
