double clicked the desktop Icon

i get a Runtime Error, stating D:\Programs\TrueImageEchoWorkstation\TrueImage.exe
this applications has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusal way.
Pleast contact the application's support team for more information

Yes, you are telling correct. But yet VistaPE 12 is BETA so I always use VistaPE 11.

Hi my friends

I found the interesting a result :

Acronis Remote Agent service of the Acronis® TrueImage Echo WorkStation® isn't working on the CDrom !

Because, CD is write-protected so please, select the "Run from ram (boot.wim)" option of script for the stable usage.




Solution : CdRom can be used instead Usb Flash Disk

But now I have not tried this method, can you try ?
Please, enable this "UsbDrive Y:" feature of script

i can't get v11. when i click on vistape in winbuilde it only has v12.... ummmm?

this is true of the agent, it needs to have write access.. i think on the CD Rom is - b:\, correct?
if that is the case, for when you boot a cd that it load VPE on b:\ then this may need to be b:\ instead
of y:\
i am thinking that on the usb side it will be fine,,

i am still trying to clean up my build dir now, after making the changes with the combo box, its not working at all..
so i'm back to square one..

give me a few mins and let me re-download and kick off a plain build
then make the combo changes and kick off a build

ok i have it building but now it didn't start BSexplorer..
ummmmmm not sure what happen.. just kept the defaults other than changing (under VPE logon) to bsexplorer..

no desktop icons or anything...?

rebuilding now..

i see bsexplored come up and then shellx and desktop is lampman (i guess) with no icons.

I am unchecking the combo box treak and see what happens!

so i unchecked the combo_box and it goes back to BSexplorer with my icons
no other apps (fast building)

now - testing - this
leave apps unchecked and check combo box...

results:

I would do the basic version and if you need anything else look in archive

archives is all of what was avalable when downloading thro winbuilder,

BUT start with basic and see what you get

it LOOKS like you could download all of it one files at a time thro Archives

ok i checked rc12 and rebuild..

it does not load BSexplorer,,, and under start - no programs

how i know this is:
inside the vm, i went to start\run and typed x:\
then to programs files and i see bsexplorer..
click on bsexplorer.exe and my desktop icons and all come up, and there are programs

click on Acronis and error, doesn't accept my keys, which are the ones i installed on this current system with.......

added apps dir...
fixed the combo app for v11
i have unchecked the v12 RC box in combo

main shell to bsexplorer

thats all i changed

let see what happens

OH yea - how to i make this version boot directly into bsexplorer - set Grub to "0" wait time? don't see the grub script?

getting error - on bsexplorer from the combo script now:
please enable BS Explorer Script. EXplorer.exe in %targetdir%program files\bsexplorer absent!

I have it enable in 74v11 in two locations:
under shell
in combo box - BsExplorer

man this gets confusing back and forth on different builds....

i havent used Vista11 for awhile

look in %targetdir%program files\bsexplorer

see if a script for BSexplorer is there, if you just downloaded the Base files for Vista11 then you may have to go get the BSexplorer script...
