There exists an old (beta) script MMC by smiley.
Out of any reason (I do not know why) it went lost.

I added it (with some modifications) in nativeEX_barebone.

Going to 'Download > psc.boot-land.net/Projects > nativeEx_barebone > Apps > MMC.script' you should be able to download and test it.

@smiley: If you have something newer than the downloadable version, please let me know

@dietlmann: Welcome in the forum!

Hallo Peter!

@Peter
I have a problem with your mmc.script. I am going to post it in the German forum.

I fixed smiley's old version to handle disk management, too.

For those who are interested:

Instead of adding the (uncomplete?) encoded file vds.reg, I let HoJoPE do the work.

The code:

Set,"%ctl%","%ProjectDir%\Temp\mmc.ctl"
Set,"%scr%","%ProjectDir%\Temp\mmc.script.txt"
IniRead,"%ProjectInfo%","OS","SourceLocale",%myLang%
If,ExistFile,%ctl%,FileDelete,%ctl%
FileCreateBlank,%ctl%
TXTAddLine,%ctl%,[DMREG.INF]DM.AddReg,"Append"
TXTAddLine,%ctl%,HKLM#$c#$q#$q@-2,"Append"
ShellExecute,Hide,"%HoJoPEDir%\%HoJoPEexe%","#$q/S%SourceDir%\I386\#$q #$q/O%scr%#$q -L2 -TW -C%myLang% #$q-I%ctl%#$q -D0"
Exec,%scr%,Process-Hive

Upload to nativeEx_barebone as mmc.script.version 002.
The modified script is tested and runs with XP SP2 / W2003 SP1 German and English.
It needs hives factory script version 021.
(Only change is that HoJoPE.exe is not deleted when hive factory ends)

Current issues:
  • With W2003 SP2 start of ALL mmc functions brings 'access denied'.
  • With BootSDI the SDI disk image is not shown by mmc.

So maybe again we do a little bit of common development?
I missed it last time :cheers:

Peter

BTW: For those who do not know: An important part of nativeEx is the HoJoPE program.
'Jo' is meaning smiley's first name.
