Hi,

I've used an Bootstick with everything I needed.
LiveOS, Backup Recovery, Diacnostics and so on.

But now I'll try ventoy and it looks great.

Only thing is I have Acronis True Image 2013 wich doesn't support uefi boot.

Legacy boot is ok.

Can I modiefied the iso so uefi boot is possible?

Best regards

i don't think it is possible.

But you could download this free Acronis versions (I'm not totaly sure they support UEFI booting but it is very possible since this versions are newer than your very old 2013 version):

Only requirement is: there is at least one HD of respective brand.

For Western Digital HD: https://shop.western...ts/apps/acronis

For Seagate HD: https://www.seagate....ads/discwizard/

NOTE: This installable versions do not have all options available, but are good to make/restore backups and you can make a bootable ISO from them too.

Also it is very possible there is a version in your own language, just change country/lang selection to check that.

I don't use this free versions since long time ago that's why I'm not sure their created ISOs are UEFI capables.

Other option is download my portable SFX version of wimlib-clc, that you can run from other OS or a WinPE, even using the lowest compression (XPREES wich is 4K) the WIM file created is very much smaller than the images created using Acronis.

wimlib-clc 7z SFX LZMA2 Compressed Portable 20200605

NOTE: If running from a 10 OS, (not from a 10 WinPE), it has to be run as admin.

Ok. Thaks a lot.

I need Acronis 2013 because it's the only version which works everytime.
All newer versions has sometimes trouble with USB, RAID or something.

Is the Acronis you want based on WinPE or Linux?

Hi.

It should be Linux based.

well sometimes it is possible to UEFI boot to a Linux kernel provided it makes no BIOS calls.

If you have a grub4dos menu that works you can write a grub2 menu using grub2 commands to load the kernel and initrd.

For instance, Easy2Boot v2 includes agFM (grub2) which supports user grub2 menus ( .grubfm or .cfg).

So you can try adding a .grubfm file and the ISO and have a play!

Hi me again.

I've a WinPE iso but only legacy. I made this one years ago and can't refresh it.
If I trie to UEFI boot with vimtoy, but no UEFI file, logical.

No bootfile found for UEFI!
Maybe the image does not support X64 UEFI!

If I use GrubFM it's still the same

Boot iso (partnew) nothing happens

Boot iso (map) nothing happens

Boot windows PE from iso: error

1 loading file.jpg

2 winload.efi missed.jpg

If copied the efi folder and bootmgr.efi from a win 10 DVD
and add winload.efi from Win 10 DVD boot.wim (boot.wim\1\Windows\System32\Boot\) to

boot.wim (windows/system32/boot) in the iso.

I used 7-zip and Poweriso.

3 error occured.jpg

Can it even work like that? If not, how could it?

Thanks :D

As you can probably imagine I'm not so firm with english.

Can you tell me if there's a way to add UEFI boot or if there's a tool with can boot an Legacy ISO on only UEFI system?
