I have read that there is very little difference between the two.
If you have a choice between one or the other, what would you choose and more importantly, why?
I am now ready to start using x64 but before I do I would like to get some feedback from more experienced ones about these two.
thanks

Hi Zoso
Yes, there is very little difference between the two.
1) Memory : http://windowsadminc...or-windows.html
2) Only the Xp does support the theme interface for desktop/windows.
3) The Windows Server 2003 contains many extra the management programs for system administrators.
4) The Windows Xp's multimedia support is better than the window server 2003.
I think; the windows 5 operation series systems is now dead and current the Windows 8 is the best operation system right now. Kind regards

hi Max,
thanks for your helpful input. from that I think XP will suit me better because of multimedia support.
I have not tried W8 yet.
edit to add: BTW, I have vista and 7 but since I am more familiar with XP I wanted to give the x64 edition a try and since reading it was so similar to 2003 I ask.
