GRAND UPDATE on nativeEx SERVER

I hope you do not worry that I have stolen your title line.
But what I did, is to continue your work on the nativeEx server.
@All
The tree structure now is idenical to the structure of the LiveXP server.
Also some files (due to Lancelot's x86 / x64 work) are copied from the LiveXP server.
When you download for test, please delete the old contents before. Duplicate scripts in different folders may bring unpredictable results.
BTW: The predefined !WBManager configurations are still the old ones and may not work very nice.
I'm going to test / correct them step by step and replace silently.
@Lancelot: Your changed UniversalVideoDriver.Script version 13e, I uploaded as version 14

Hello,
in your "5 - CopyAndExpand.Script" (version 30), nativeex-barebone project,
there are 4 lines that contain a new variable "%Source_32%" that is not defined anywhere.
If,NotExistFile,%Source_32%\NTDETECT.COM,run,%ScriptFile%,process-NoFileFound
Echo,"Copying boot files.."
FileCopy,%Source_32%\NTDETECT.COM,%Target_win%
FileCopy,%Source_32%\SETUPLDR.BIN,%Target_win%
and
If,%bootfix%,Equal,True,FileCopy,"%source_32%\BOOTFIX.BIN",%Target_win%
// now done automatically
//Run,%ScriptLog%,Process-log
If I substitute "%Source_32%" with "%Source_win%" , winbuilder(077RC2) works correctly (XP-PRO SP3 32 bit).
Regards.

The variable is defined in script.project as "%source_32%=%SourceDir%\I386"
Did you also download this script.project?
But maybe there is an upload issue.
I'll check

thanks, you are right.
If I download script.project the variable definition is OK.
My mistake is due to the fact that version number (69) of script.project is not changed.

Seems to be my fault (or better some mistake I did when writing the "update Server suite")My mistake is due to the fact that version number (69) of script.project is not changed.
Thanks!
I'll correct, and after that your issue should never come up again.

I tried to download some files from your nativeex server.
It is impossible to download the files from folders:
Tools/nativeex/qemu/keymaps
Tools/nativeex/qemu/License
Thanks & regards.

Sorry for your inconvenience!Hi psc,
I tried to download some files from your nativeex server.
It is impossible to download the files from folders:
Tools/nativeex/qemu/keymaps
Tools/nativeex/qemu/License
Thanks & regards.
I'm currently reorganizing the qEmu stuff.
Within some hours everything will be correct again.
(But I think that you already can work w/o these folders)

Hi Peter,
I noticed that too
Since you are working on it, I have a unwritten request/idea pending for weeks,
Instead of current (not very proper) solution we have for hdd.img download trouble,
can we have hdd.img inside the script, and if not exists on target extracted from script. (and a checkbox "reset hdd.img on every build")
edit: this will be more proper since we will not provide hdd.img through server and there will never be a hdd.img download on wb download list.

Check the latest qEmu.Script version!
I hope I fullfilled your suggestions.

<project> > Finish > 3 Emulation
is replaced by
<project> > VirtualTest
The contained scripts
- qEmuEx.Script
- VirtualBox.script
- VMWare.script
Reason: These scripts are used in nativeEx_barebone as well as in nativeEx_Win7 (in nativeEx_Win7 as link)
With the old level 7 they appear in nativeEx_Win7 before 'Finalize'.
Maybe LiveXP can follow this change ...

Yes I noticed the change yesterday, but could not find time to contact you. Anyway here is a short story:Maybe LiveXP can follow this change ...
In old days, I had written a problem the reason which is levels mismatch between LiveXP/nativeEx_Barabone and other PE2/3 projects, Now It is nice to see you are aware with nativeEx_Win7.
With the current solution you made, in future you may need to change the organisation a bit more.
I have a suggestion, why not increment (+1) levels of ALL scripts at Finish section to Level 8. (like all PE2/3 projects around)
There are good reasons to make such a change:
* This will lead nativeex projects (_win7, _barabone ) use single createiso script (and maybe some other Finish scripts in time)
* Other PE2/3 projects can use these scripts without changing level
* There is no harm to the current structure of nativeex_barabone and livexp
* solve some of other level related interproject issues
What you think ??

I was thinking about:
Create a new topic "project structure" to DECIDE about a new OBLIGATORY project tree structure.
("structure" implements levels!)
And your new LiveXP structure is a very good start!
I'm not your boss to give you tasks to do, but when you create such a "standard structure description" it would be great.
I personnally (here that means for the nativeEx world) would follow completelly!
(My only concern is VistaPE with 'disappeared' Nightman)

yes, my boss is Galapo. You are my admin of the "father" project, with other words, on project world you are my father.I'm not your boss to give you tasks to do,
well, instead of making lots of changes, lets fill the missings in nativeex world.but when you create such a "standard structure description" it would be great.
level 7 for OtherOS (some pex (x>1) have otheros scripts, nativeex do not have, livexp can not have directly now (pending))
level 8 for finish scripts (why not)

I can make appropriate changes, but I may not contribute much to discussion ... severe illness in my family commands most of my attention.(My only concern is VistaPE with 'disappeared' Nightman)
