@Peter.

Finally, I have new notebook with Vista Ultimate installed on C partition.

I tested LiveXP and nativeEx with WB 072a and guess what:

After initial glitch:

and replacement of Explorer v36 with v28,
everything worked FLAWELESSLY!

BTW: Where I could find missing file? It is not included in Tools download!

It is attached in OLESupport.Script
(since some time with 'attach' and 'licensed' issues I'm thinking to put to %Tools% like some other progs I already did)

BTW: If you use WinBuilder's download to get the latest files, you should have it.
(maybe you have some worries to overwrite your running system with something unknown. But WinBuilder has a 'backup' function, and due to new scripts of mine: Please trust me!)

I have downloaded it but didn't select it.
Now everything is OK!

Sorry about that
I checked the latest upload under XP: OK.

No idea what happens in Vista.
I'm going to insert some debug info into autoCompress.exe, which may give a hint about the failure reason.

What about processCompress.Script and processUPX.Script in %ProjectDir%\Tools
  • not existing
  • existing and empty
  • existing and truncated
  • existing with [re-Compress] / [re-UPX] at the end
?
