Problem solved ?
The key is a registry entry like this:
HKLM\Software\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery","enterprise",">> very long sequence of numbers <<"

[modified]
Hive_Load,HKU
reg_add,0x1,"%reg%\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery","enterprise",""
// >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> modify this entry here
reg_add,0x1,"%reg%\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery","{080AF0C5-482A-4575-A460-5F3AD8BAB231}","..."
reg_add,0x1,"%reg%\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery","omni_restore",""
// >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> modify this entry here
reg_add,0x1,"%reg%\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery","{71444BF5-024F-4E65-8230-D4BCABF73D72}","..."
Hive_Unload,HKU

Thanks for the script littlepoor. Did you get the key to work in the PE environment yet? I inputted my key in the script but it still doesnt show up in Acronis when I boot to the Win7PE environment. It says in the Recovery part "Failed to check the license key. The key is disabled."

HKU\Software\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery","enterprise",">> very long sequence of numbers <<"

are you sure the key is supposed to be "enterprise"? I tried to find the key on my local machine that points to the serial but no luck.

yes it works great
it is not the original serial
it is the key from the registry
it has two leading spaces !
export the key from the running os

Which version you are using ?

tested with X86 only !

[modified]
lines deleted
changed from v10.0.0.11105 to v10.0.0.11639

i get nothing in that query, that folder in my registry doesnt exist. Im using TI 10 Advanced Workstation with Universal Restore.

The only thing in my registry in HKLM\Software\Acronis is a Scheduler folder and a Snapmap folder. The enterprise key you refer to is in the wow directory (im on win7 X64) but the enterprise key is empty.

Version is 10.0.11639

X64, that was my second thought
there should be export_license.bat under the WinPE folder in your filesystem
it is part of AcronisBootableComponentsMediaBuilder
this file generates the information to license.info and acronis.inf

have a try
can't test this with X64 at the moment

I have updated to the new version of your script though it now gets side-by-side errors just like the script I tried to make myself. I think it has something to do with the Win7PE_SE build. I think ive had enough with the immaturity of the Win7PE builds so im going to make a Vista VM and see if I can get it working there.

yea, i've tried to add it in but apparently according to the Win7PE_SE build thread its not working in the build yet due to no autorun funcitonality.

script updated to version 006

Acronis10.script v10.0.0.11639

information inside the script

side by side script is not needed !!!

Acronis is a standalone application
this error occurs, wenn these files are not at the correct location
Microsoft.VC80.CRT.manifest
msvcm80.dll
msvcp80.dll
msvcr80.dll
these 4 files must be in mms-folder and in Acronis-default-folder

it could be affected by another problem inside Win7PE_SE, i never used it

i feel that the topic title is a little misleading
as the program's name you are talking about is 'Acronis Backup And Recovery 10'

this script worked for me with the older versions of 'Backup & Recovery 10'
also in LiveXP and also in VistaPE\Win7PE projects
but have not tried with newer version - e.g. Build # 11639

Thanks for the Acronis10 script. I am trying integrated the Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 to my WinPE build (WAIK 2.0)..Just the command line version (not with WinBuilder)..Basically I follow what the script does..Make directories and copy the appropriate files from the Acronis installed version to \mount\Program Files\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery

The parts I am stump is how to add registries manually, such as these lines..
[Software.AddReg]
Hive_Load,HKU
reg_add,0x1,"%reg%\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\Settings","WorkingDir","\Program Files\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery"

[SetupReg.AddReg]
Hive_Load,HKLM
reg_add,0x7,"%reg%\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}","UpperFilters","PartMgr","snapman"

Do u know how? Thanks!

open a command window and type:
reg.exe /?

e.g.:
reg.exe load HKLM\offline-software c:\winpe_x86\mount\Windows\System32\config\Softwarereg.exe add HKLM\offline-software\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\Settings /f /v WorkingDir /t REG_SZ /d "X:\Program Files\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery"reg.exe unload HKLM\offline-softwarereg.exe load HKLM\offline-system c:\winpe_x86\mount\Windows\System32\config\Systemreg.exe add HKLM\offline-system\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} /f /v UpperFilters /t REG_MULTI_SZ /d PartMgr\0snapmanreg.exe add HKLM\offline-system\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{71A27CDD-812A-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F} /f /v UpperFilters /t REG_MULTI_SZ /d snapmanreg.exe add HKLM\offline-system\ControlSet001\Services\snapman /f /v Start /t REG_DWORD /d 0reg.exe add HKLM\offline-system\ControlSet001\Services\mms /f /v ImagePath /t REG_EXPAND_SZ /d "%SystemDrive%\Program Files\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\mms\mms.exe"reg.exe unload HKLM\offline-system
maybe better to use Acronis's own bootable media builder and to select the 'Windows PE 2.x' bootable media type(or if remember right in older versions it was called 'Acronis WinPE ISO builder', in older versions search for 'winpe_iso.exe')also see:http://kb.acronis.com/content/6267http://kb.acronis.com/content/2978

is there a tutorial or guide on how to use this script. Look over the acronis articles posted above, but it doesn't mention how to import directly to winbuilder.

I haven't tried the script yet but I have build 13762... Is there something in the script that I would need to update to allow it to function properly?

Thanks :)
