Alcor Micro USB Pen-Drive Repair

Hey everybode

 

I want to repair my USB Stick, in Explorer the Drive is listed but not able to format and not able to chkdsk...

After a while i found a Site names flashboot where i can drop  the VID and PID to pick the Manufaturer Tool to repair.

I do this and found many Devices and some tools but the Site where the Tool can be download is down or the http proxie in hospital doent allow this site so id didnt know what i have to download.

 

Can someone help me pls, the Infos by ChipGenius are this:

Besides the site you mentioned, the usual reference one is this:

(you will need to navigate it through Google Translate or similar).

Besides ChipGenius there are another couple tools recommended (that may - or may not - be able to identify the actual chip), please check the above page and try running also the other recommended tools (and post results):

The Alcor Micro page:

has a number of tools, usually there are several versions of a "same" tool in various versions, rule of the thumb, once identified the proper tool, is to check if a different version contains more documents about their use.

 

Additionally, there is a common issue with Alcor Micro devices using not the "standard" Vid 058F and PId 6387, see:

Finally, consider that a number of tools will ONLY work properly on Windows XP (and NOT on Vista :ph34r: /7 or later).

Hey Wonco,

Thanks for quick helping but at the while i have solved the Problem my self by testing several Tools from Alcor...

The Tool what helps me is:

 

 

ALCOR MP_v14.01.24.00.zip from --> http://flashboot.ru/files/file/419/

 

 

I hope my Post will help somebody in the Future with the Same Stick:

Silver (Aluminium Chassis) Trekstore 32GB with miniUSB and normalUSB Connection.
