Thanks for feedback.

I have never seen this Error.

Next week I can test on other (my own) computer and will try to find out the origin of this AutoIt Error Message.

Download System_Info - Updated to version 2.3

- Motherboard determined from Registry instead of using WMI to avoid AutoIt Object Error

- FileName of System_Info and Drive_Info begins with Computer Name and is produced in root folder instead of makebt folder

I'm an idiot. Please forgive me for any extra work that may have resulted from the following comment -

In my none standard setup, my gpt disk is reported as MBR. LBA Sector 0 contains grub4dos code. As stated, this is not a standard setup, however is it possible to check for gpt info in sector 1? Or maybe even check for hybrid disks?

I was using a hybrid disk previously. At some point I must have converted it to MBR - I honestly can't remember doing so. I used a hex editor today to check the disk structure and realised that it has a MBR and full partition table and no GUID Partition Header in LBA Sector 1.

My memory is clearly not great. And I'd made an assumption that the disk was GPT as I've been running it in UEFI mode only, with CSM disabled. I also forgot that my firmware clearly does not care about the partition scheme and will just load \EFI\BOOT\BOOTx64.EFI anyway.

:white_flag:

Apologies,

Misty

@misty

Thanks for making things clear.

For me using your HybridDisk.vhd it was quite easy to establish

that the System_Info program could identify the disk correctly as having GPT Partition Style.

So there was no need to spend extra time on it  ;)

All working fine here, wimb. Thanks a lot for this tool as well (nice compact diagnostics, all-in-one).

BTW, will there be any such thing as W10_compact_make_mini_10?

@Hima

Thanks for your suggestion.

It is certainly interesting to add systeminfo and dxdiag command to my System_Info program.

@antonino61

In fact VHD_WIMBOOT is offering already the functionality of a mini Windows 10 booting from RAMDISK and as FILEDISK.

The advantage of the WIMBOOT concept is that you don't need to remove files so that the full power of the OS remains, which improves stability and bootability.

nice, thy..

lil' question, why do you not make with tabs, one tab Software, one tab hardware and one tab about

and more behind could you add Regtweaks with checkboxes like Driveletter, Win10 Loginsthinfs, like removing blur, remove the comic swichup loginwall for Login only.. and some things.. for Win7 "noWin10" switch to hold the actual WinNT 6.1 version..

NoWin10 in WinNT6.1

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

#http://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/Upgrade-auf-Windows-10-per-Doppelklick-verhindern-3093805.html

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows]
"DisableOSUpgrade"=dword:00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate]
"DisableOSUpgrade"=dword:00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Gwx]
"DisableGwx"=dword:00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\OSUpgrade]
"AllowOSUpgrade"=dword:00000000
"ReservationsAllowed"=dword:00000000

Give me updates in WinNT6.1 ( https://www.heise.de...er-3978274.html) :

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\QualityCompat]
"cadca5fe-87d3-4b96-b7fb-a231484277cc"=dword:00000000

No updates without a AV, MS have make with the whole AV-Manufacturer a contract to setting up this regkey to become further Updates, so, why not set it up without an AV ooor an AV who make not this contract.. as workaround ..

best regards

Blacky

Thanks for the interesting Windows 7 Tweaks.

As you know the End of Support for Windows 7 is coming soon. :(

The purpose of the present program is to collect and have easy accesss to System Information.

System Tweaking is another subject that might be added in the future ....

MS say's "We Supporting it no more" and any must have Scare ? .. also on Offlinemashins.. also if the peoples have a Antivierus or want it not..

MS can not  compel/extort the end of using from Win7.. Win 7 is a nice Ordering system which works pretty well now behind 100 Patches of the System *headwave..oooohh..no,no,no,no*

and gives again a half finished and real well working Orderingsystem out of the House with Win10 ?! Suuuper Adversiting for MS, they make it like in the past, the pirates.. give every the newest and let the enduser bleeding is something wrong.. like Murphys Law.. bring 2-3 month later patches.. no, they where really need, the Factorys must pay for fixes, what MS-Programmer have done wrong/broken..

This is fraud "knowing to become something, but use the money.." if i am right.. so.. i stay the next jears on Win7 up to Reactos is ready to use..

f.o. Win10 !

best regards

Blacky

The problem is that you have set Notepad2 with ANSI as default for *.txt files. Try to change Encoding Setting or press Shift+F8

In my case the original Windows Notepad is default and than the output has UTF-8 Unicode
