What is the isz format, and where did you read that it should be supported?I have the same ISO compressed in several ways: gz and isz.

mkisofs or 7zipMEMDISK supports gzip and pkzip, as far as I know. Which tool/command are you using to compress the .ISO?

MEMDISK is not GRUB.http://j.mp/UlFh7r also via grub
mkisofs can build .ISOs, but what mkisofs command-line are you using to compress an .ISO?mkisofs or 7zip
I don't understand what you mean. What is "a stand"?it is strange that the same file compressed with the same configuration on a stand it works and another does not.

gz7zip offers a variety of compression types, as far as I know. Which "archive format" did you choose with 7zip?
