i forgot how to do that....
on not fbinst i have:
title Start pmagic.iso from partition 0
root (hd0,0)
map /pmagic.iso (0xff) || map --mem /pmagic.iso (0xff)
map --hook
root (0xff)
configfile /grub4dos.lst || chainloader (0xff)
on fbinst extended ud i have:
title Start pmagic.iso from partition 0
root (ud)
map (ud)/pmagic.iso (0xff) || map --mem (ud)/pmagic.iso (0xff)
map --hook
root (0xff)
configfile /grub4dos.lst || chainloader (0xff)
and after it loads pmagic there is only:
SEARCHING FOR pmagic SQFS and this is last text...waiting 30 minutes = nothing more.
how to make fbinst with pmagic iso on ud working ?

Which is very logical ...SEARCHING FOR pmagic SQFS and this is last text...waiting 30 minutes = nothing more.
ATM, Linux (and any other OS for the matter) doesn't understand the (ud) part of your drive and won't look for files on this part of your drive. Parted Magic needs to find its ISO file (or /pmagic/pmodules/pmagic.sqfs).
