- Created a Gmail account: MailIDToSend@gmail.com
- Created a Google group linked to the account created above: TestGroupToSend@googlegroups.com
- Created another Gmail account: MailIDForNestedGroupProblem@gmail.com
- Created another Google group linked to the account created above: TestGroupToForward@googlegroups.com
- Forwarded all mails of the mail ID #3 to group #4
- Added the mail ID #3 as a member of the group #2
- Email Delivery options of both of group were left default, i.e. both the groups were sending email notification of posted messages to all group members.
(MailIDToSend@gmail.com) TestGroupToSend@googlegroups.com -----------posting message----------> MailIDForNestedGroupProblem@gmail.com -----------forwarding to------------> TestGroupToForward@googlegroups.com
Now when I post a message to TestGroupToSend@googlegroups.com on behalf of MailIDToSend@gmail.com, MailIDForNestedGroupProblem@gmail.com is getting notified & tries to forward the incoming notification to TestGroupToForward@googlegroups.com & fails with the following message:
