Does the CurrentVersion Registry Key Exist in Non-English Windows?

I do not have access to any non-english Windows installations. Can anyone confirm whether the CurrentVersion Value/Sub-Key exists in the following registry section (on an installed Windows XP/2003/Vista/7/2008/*/8.1) -
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion
I'd like to use this to identify the Host OS - if it doesn't exist then it's back to the drawing board for me! I'd like to add better support for running my WinBuilder projects on a non-English host operating system. It's come to my attention that some of the scripts in MistyPE/Mini-WinFE are not functioning as the search strings were for english text that doesn't exist on non-English builds - oops!!!!

I have it in 7SP1x64 Spanish version but it has a lot of sub-keys, any one in particular you want me to verify?
Maybe: CurrentVersion REG_SZ 6.1
Later I'll reboot to XP-SP3 x86 and let you know if it is there but first could be good to know for the sub-key you need to be cheked.
Regards.

Thanks for the feedback. Sorry for not being clearer in my first post. It's just the CurrentVersion Value (Sub-key) I wanted to verify the existence of - I'm not really interested in the Data it contains, just the existence of the CurrentVersion Key and Value.
If CurrentVersion exists in all builds (e.g. not something like VersiónActual in a Spanish installation) then it's possible to easily script a means to check the host OS. This is very good news - for me anyway

P.s. I'll edit my first post.

I confirm for the following systems:
- Windows 2000 french
- Windows 8.1 french
- Windows 8.1 chinese
The "CurrentVersion" value is 5.0 in the first case and 8.3 6.3 in the others. So it seems reliable.
Edit: mistake on the second value

@ misty
As far as I remember all registry keys in XP are in English, as they are in Win7 (confirmed). But I'll verify this and let you know ASAP.
