As I had no idea about the market share between cable modem and DSL in the world I did some searching.
The result is a surprise for me, xDSL has much more penetration.
Total broadband by technology 2011:
xDSL 63%
Cable modem 20%
FTTx 14%
Others 3%
FTTx (fiber to the x, for ex. fiber to the home or FTTH).
I guess there is not any script for FTTx yet.

Can anyone tell me, where Windows 7 stores username and password for a dialup connection?
So far i had no luck, trying to track it down. The information also does not seem to exist on the internet. The best i could find, is the location for XP.

Thank you Oscar for this nice PPPOE script .
And Thanks SEAKZ for all information provided http://www.911cd.net...ic=23931&st=188 and wimb for having integrated it into MakePE3 for a while .
I modified the script starting from winpe-pppoe.cab package by adding registry keys and few files, improving the interface ...
PPPOE.script
I have no analog or ADSL modem for testing (I no longer have), but it should work (just additions).
I would like to integrate it in WIn7PE_SE for those who use (I would have preferred integrated in PENetwork), thanks for your feedbacks
ps: You can download the latest "http://w7pese.cwcodes.net/Projects/Win7PE_SE/Build/2-Config.script v36 which fixes a small bug detected in JFX Shortcut.exe.
