I don't get it.

Have you actually TRIED running it in XP and it doesn't work?

Three possibilities:

1) it works (and you won't have people lose their time on resolving a non-problem)

2) it doesn't (and it generates an error that is what you should be asking about)

3) it does work but ... (and the nut is what you should be asking about)

Side notes:

Do you understand how you are essentially asking people to download an anonymous file (BTW potentially dangerous or illegal or whatever) ?

How many people do you believe that will be willing on this basis to assist you?

BTW I actually tried downloading it, but most probably it has been compressed by a stupidly recent version of WinRAR that my 7-zip is not compatible with, so I cannot open it.

Whenever sharing a compressed archive alway use the .zip format and never the .rar one (of course if the idea is to make life of people attempting to help you slightly easier).

Anyway you posted (why?) some of the contents of a directory consisting essentially in "normal" OS (DOS 7) files, no trace of the whatever "old program" you asked about, unless you mean the "setup.bat":

@echo off
md c:\temp > Nul
md c:\dos7 > nul
md c:\nc > nul
md c:\setup > nul
COPY CONFIG.C C:\*.SYS > nul
COPY AUTOEXEC.C C:\*.BAT > Nul
COPY NC*.* C:\nc > nul
COPY MOUSE.COM C:\dos7 > nul
COPY SMARTDRV.EXE C:\dos7 > nul
COPY HIMEM.SYS C:\dos7 > nul
COPY EMM386.EXE C:\dos7 > nul
COPY ECSCDIDE.SYS C:\dos7 > nul
COPY MSCDEX.EXE C:\dos7 > nul
echo Please reboot your system !

which makes little sense in itself and none at all if run from that root directory (from which half of the files the batch should copy are a-missing).

thank you Wonko

i am sorry if i have made any mistake by asking this question

it's an old program i am using it by my usb flash disk after boot from it

it's just an idea to be easy for me if i can run it while using windows xp or win 7

like run android app or run old game ps1 & ps2  by  Emmulators

and again i am very sorry if this idea is impossible  and can't be done

thanks for all

The issue is that if you don't explain WHICH program it is, there is no way to tell you if it works or not (or if there is some workaround - such as an emulator or a virtual machine) capable of running it.

this is a mouse,CDRom installer with Norton Commander copyin, with out a nc-folder in side of the package..
this is bullshit and can kick in the trash ..

look for a nortoncommander :
NC30
NC5.0
NC5.04
NC5.5
Norten Commander 2000(2.0)
Norten Commander for Winwin
Norton Commander 98-NT-XP V2.01.zip
Norton Commander Fix for WindowsXP_SP2

and build you're self a disk together, there do you learn something ..

take a look on my batch/bat/cmd for install/update and unattended install of different programms and updates.. it supports also Win10 and Win2K ;)

this file, what you have linked in is for Dos only.. for have a surface with mousetriver and CDRom driver and a NortonCommander

take a look the last file v1.56 www.blackysgate.de/files/folder-root/batch-files/
i hope it helps..

in dos 6.22 can you type "help" if the helpfiles also installed.. what it should.
best regards
