yes it does...

removing it seems impossible even for Malwarebytes Anti-Malware or latest panda [that is listed as one of the best antivirus.. ] or the other new recommended HitmanPro_x64 ..

i have the pricegotlower tag on all new tab...when i launch chrome it complains about developer mode of extentions...as you can see some extention listed in ram are not shown in others tab for settings...

plus there is some auto-loading of others extentions...

sorry if images are very large ..but it is cool to have 3 screens to see all the tabs at once

so google when you will read that : you should better not try to kick kickass-torrent from the web but more the virus and bugs in your browser [ that is no longer the fast one...]

by now i use a lot more firefox x64 that is very fast despite few bugs like with mega website and extention..

There will be a process somewhere that will be adding it as soon as you remove it (assuming you are removing it).

Easy way to confirm this is to close chrome, go to "%localappdata%\google" and rename the chrome folder to chrome.bak (this creates a new profile).

If you still have the extension next time you load chrome, then you have some malware running in the background.

Give ADWCleaner a go, it finds lots of things the other two don't.

Failing that, give Emsisoft emergency scanner a go, they have a fairly good pup detection thing going.

"Undetectable" isn't really true, after all chrome is picking it up as a third party extension. "Hard to remove" would be a more accurate term.

i tried adwcleaner_4.207 that saved me once before but this time he s lost against the virus

i ll try emisoft in few minutes..

undectable for most user , because two extentions that are "self installed" [ or i think i got it with a torrent for playing black mesa hl2 : the famous half-unfinished game ....

that will never have xen ...because of the source engine that is not "advanced enough...

for those who knows  ...they should read the interview made at "steam launch [ 20 euro the scam-game that is a copy of hl..]

http://www.rockpaper...esa-mod-no-xen/

http://forums.steamp...d.php?t=3288444

  ]

are not showing in the setting tab where user installs or delete them : the right screen

the left windows shows the windows related to more tools : inspectdevices/extention and taskmanager...

malwarebytes recognizes the virus in ram and prevent it to have access to the web and download adds or others virus/stealers

i report the action of emisoft

i did a scan but it seems that it does not find the virus , despite the chrome was closed .

as many others it founds a virus in the black mesa steam emulator....

the sucker should have added code in this "public library" for cracking steam games...

here is emisoft result

chrome_virus_4.jpg

by the way i do not play it again and the virus is still here...

its a dvd from an german computer magazine. it is ubuntu-based, bootable and haves 4 or 5 virus scanners on board.
