When trying to start some programs, (eg superfinder), I get the message "The program can´t start because winspool.drv is missing..."
How can I solve this tissue?

Thanks in advance!

using wi7pe_se v.24, superfinder xt script v.22, win7 ultimate sp1 32bit german and I have no problem starting that program

I think it would be helpful if you post a log file.
what source do you use? what waik do you have installed?

Thanks for the answer.

I'm using Win7PE_SE
In my PC I have installed "Windows 7, 6.1.7600", 64 bits
Installed WAIK is KB3AIK_EN
Source DVD is Windows 7, 32 bits

Good info, but ultimately, we will need a log file of the build...I'm going to assume you did a check, and the file is really missing in the PE - right? Did you change any of the settings on the project before building? If you re-run the build to make a new log, please go into the Tools area, and set the debug options, and to echo the original statement so we get maximal log information.

If you have a log file (look in the logs directory), double check it for the file copy of this file, since it should be logged!

Also, if you are using a DVD as the source, make a copy of it onto a hard drive, and point at it, and I **HIGHLY** recommend using the util script to "Extract WIM Folders" as well...

thanks for the answer!

I extracted this two lines from log file:

IF - File exists: [%BaseDir%MountWin7PE_SESourceBootWimSrcWindowsSystem32winspool.drv] evaluated string: [If,ExistFile,%b32%winspool.drv,FileCopy,%b32%winspool.drv,%t32%]
FileCopy - Copied [%BaseDir%MountWin7PE_SESourceBootWimSrcWindowsSystem32winspool.drv] to: [%BaseDir%TargetWin7PE_SEWindowssystem32winspool.drv]

I make a copy of DVD onto a hard drive and ran the script to "Extract WIM Folders".

I had 3 errors:

0 C:dvdwin7sourcesboot.wim
1 CRC failed in `2WindowsSystem32winspool.drv`. File is broken.
2 CRC failed in `2Windowswinsxsx86_microsoft-windows-p..ting-spooler-client…

The problem is in DVD???

Maybe, since the spool driver was also the culprit before...Do a search here in the forum, and go download a fresh ISO from Microsoft (they provide enterprise version trials)...Give that a go and see if that helps. The unpacked WIMs will really speed things up!
