Windows Vista Ultimate
TFTPD32 3.25

When attempting to upload a file from any Device the TFTP server sees the intial connection, however, no data is transfered and the file is created in teh Root Directory, however, the file is 0kb.

I have disabled ALL firewalls and Anti-Virus, even configured Exceptions for TFTPD and UDP 69, however, nothing is working.

I found one post on the forums with a similar issues, however, that resolution does not apply to my situation

If i boot up my WinXP VM, i have no problem with TFTP. I can upload the same file without error.

If I run TFTPD32 on WinXP and then make the Root Directory a location on my Vista Machine, i expeience the same problem as if I were running TFTPD32 Server from the Vista machine.

To me, its a permissions issue on the file share, but i adjusted and adjusted and nothing is fixing this.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

You may want to right click - Run as administrator, and avoid using c:\ or c:\program files for TFTPD32 location

Nope same problem.

It's most likely vista. What a POS.

So TFTP works on Monday, tuesday and friday. However, on Wednesday Thursday, saturday and sunday, i get errors.

This iis just stupid, doesn't matter wich TFTP cleint i use, doesn't matter that tftp worked 20 minuts ago, it just breaks and stays that way until it feels like working again.

argh..

I open XP vm, ubuntu vm and TFTP completes without error.

Eveyrone at the office running vista has exactly the same issue.

Could it possibly be Vista firewall? Or 64bit edition of Vista? I have no problem with TFTPD32 in Vista (Ultimate Retail 32bit) but I had issues with 64bit for some reason.

I am also running 32bit ultimate.

And it works today. Had no problems what so ever.
