I'm working on a nice project and I'm looking for any tutorial about how to install Internet Explorer (from 5.0 to 8.0 should be good) on Windows PE 3.0. Please help me,thanks.

Hi,

I have a script to add Internet Explorer 8 found somewhere on this forum, did a search but couldn't find it so i decide to upload the file IE8.script

This works for me on Win7PE_SE.

I'm not using winbuilder,is there a way to convert a winbuilder script to a batch/reg file ?

Check the WinPE 3 building app by wimb:

• it uses NOT winbuilder
• it can integrate IE (I seem to remember )

The Make_PE3 Program by Wimb is good,but it seems that I have to use the WINDOWS 7 GUI when I build WIn PE 3 and I don't want it. I need only to use the command line box. Anyway I will look better there. I need to install Internet Explorer on Windows PE 3.0 but I don't need to use it really,so I think that I will convert manually the IE8 script given to me by Rui Paz from the winbuilder script to a batch/reg script.

You can copy the files use the make-pe3 win7_and_exploer_ie8.txt

Marietto, wimb's Make_PE3 can be run as a GUI or as a command line script in a dos window as an administrator.

Just thought I'd mention it in case you hadn't spotted it and it's now very well developed
