Hello guys if i install Ubuntu iso on NTFS USB flash drive it works normally but if i install it ON USB 1TB Hard drive when i boot it says Operating system not found how i can solve this problem ?

Nope every thing was done exactly same as the USB Flash Drive

i success boot grub4dos from usb-key, usb-hdd, cd, dvd even floopy

 

it seem can boot from almost device

 

i think this problem by your misstake

You need to give some more details about the 1TB drive.

Formatted as single partition or multiple?

Formatted as NTFS?

What system are you booting it from and how many different systems have you tried?

Have you tried Oracle VBox or QEMU to boot it  (e.g. RMPrepUSB - Cltr-z -  F11)?

What is the 'operating system not found message' - i.e. is it a BIOS message or a grub4dos message or a Ubuntu message?

How did you install grub4dos (to MBR or PBR)?

How are you installing Ubuntu exactly? Are you using Xboot + Ubuntu ISO, then booting to Ubuntu and then installing Ubuntu onto your 1TB USB drive?

NTFS 1 partition Boots from QEMU but not from vbox or my laptop.

I have tried windows and linux and i am not sure about MBR or PBR i used windows formatting and i have used Xboot to install grub4dos.

 

Also if I format the HHD to fat32 I can't install windows on it.
