Hey y'all,

I am very new at computer repair, and have gotten some "play" computers to learn on. One of these is giving me a hard time. I put in my Win98 disk to try to fully reformat the hard drive, and when I went to run the program, I got an error message saying it is missing the driver for device named "OEMCD001", my CD/DVD drive. I downloaded El Torito from Grub4DOS, but I have never mapped anything, and need to know how to do this. Please help me. If I left out important information, let me know, and I will provide it.

Thanks y'all!
Akasha

I was not aware that the Eltorito.Sys DOS driver was available as a download from any GRUB4DOS sites. It is included with the Syslinux boot-loader suite, certainly.

You might consider looking here[1] in regards to your issue.
