@pedrole15

I got an error:

ExtractAllFiles - Failed to extract internal files from file: [%BaseDir%\Archive\Apps\Screen Capture.Script] Section:[To_I386] Path to extract: [%BaseDir%\Projects\Standard\Target\I386]

because there was nothing encoded in To_I386.

Would be nice to write the 'extractall' command only if there is really encoded something.

If the To_I386 is empty the code for extract is not writen, normaly

This line must be deleted
ExtractAllFiles,"%ScriptFile%","To_I386","%TargetDir%\I386"

I didn't understand why it's here

It was in 'Screen Capture' by TheHive.
Maybe it has been written with an older version.

I tried using version 007 on Winbuilder 53 beta 4 but when I hit the create new Script it seems to freeze Winbuilder and the PC starts using 100 percent CPU. I let it be like that for a while but all that is created is a 7KB script that should be a in a 1 MB or so.

It works on Winbuilder 52.

It works with build52 Final.

Also this version 7 of Make Script is not compatible with the new buildModel Implementation of building Shortcuts.

I've upload a new version here
This project contain the version 7 and 8
Version 8 is for use with BuildModel only, don't need the ShortCut.script from Ove
but can't add the option Run From CD
The icon aren't shown but it's issue from BuildModel
I'm trying to build MakeScript in AutoIt as a standalone program exe

Don't forget to add small labels to quickly help understand what each option will do - looks good, keep it up! :P

WOW! This is not any more Project, but standalone script generator. :P

BTW, how I could make script when exe file is not in main program folder,
but in subfolder on a second or lover level?

I make phox's words my own.. :P

This is a big step since the last release, you've come up with a very interesting way to deal with big sized files inside the encoded files. We should talk it further to understand better how it should be behave.

I really like the help panels with the text explaining what they are meant to do and how to use their functions - very elucidative, there's no need to try out everything to understand what they'll do.. :P

Just my opinion - perhaps the button to create script and the panel should be placed on the right of the program window - I think it is more intuitive for people since they will first add all details on the tabs and then move to press the create button, starting from right to left. The exit button is really needed?

One other feature it might be worth considering are web downloads in wich scripts download 7ziped files from the author's website to make scripts much easier to distribute when they are first run - take reactOS as example for a code snippet that make custom projects much easier for people to test.

In overall I'm quite impressed - you've really understood how projects are advancing for the next times and your program is already prepared for them.

My critics are only related to some details on the UI wich can surely be polished with time and result into a really professional looking app - excellent work! :P

I tried creating a script put all the info then it poped a error message.
I had read somewhere in your program that Wbzip.exe is needed but you dont include it. Where can it be found. I did a search for it but finds this thread as the only mention of it. Can it be added with the download.

I lost my settings as you said if you close the program. Looks good and as you said it needs more tweaking. Some stuff I still dont understand but I will mention that later on during further testing.

Forgot to mention that on wb067 scripts with negative levels are accepted up to -10

This was added to use "invisible" scripts, wich could then be reconverted to positive levels and become visible on winbuilder's main window again..

Just look on the description tab of a script and try it to see how to use it.. :P

Pedro.

You will make not only my life happier if you continue
development of your famous Make New Script Project.

MakeScript_V10 has problems with shortcuts in WB6x
versions and I have switched to (adapted) v8 in order
to make new Application scripts. Attached File  MakeScript_v8.zip   330.88KB   610 downloads

Please, find time to actualize v8 and v10 to latest Build Model
Scripts in LiveXP and nativeEx.

Thank you in advance!

Phox.
