This occurs while processing the DVD1 iso for Centos 6.3

I wouldn't tag this as "news".

It is a common error, more or less every new user of XBOOT has it , then comes here and starts a new thread without searching .

I presume that for any reason a lot of users have a somehow "botched" .Net 4.0 install, missing the PGK.Extensions.dll (or possibly more files)

I tried searching but kept getting a permission denied and no results found. I tried going into each thread but gave up after the second page.

Thanks for the links and solution. Why not include these .dll's in the release package?

Ah well, who knows?, this thingy is as far as I can see an "abandoned" package (and BTW IMHO the whole idea of using .Net was flawed since day one).

For unknown reasons the Author shamurshamur left the app in the current beta and has not come back since July 2011:

Just for the record, if you don't want to use manual methods (which are always - though possibly more complex - more "customiazable") you may have a look at Sardu, which should be able to do more or less the same things but is currently mantained/updated:

since the latest stupid board update the number of things that work properly have been reduced to a fraction of what they should be

I tried SARDU. Would not work for me as some of the USB devices I use look like local hard drives and not USB flash drives. SARDU has no provision to see all the drives on the computer and select one of those. I also want to use Linux distrubutions not supported by SARDU and I have custom Linux Distrubutions that it will not work correctly on.

Yep, XBOOT, if I recall correctly, is a more "generic" wrapper around grub4dos..
Still if you plan to add/test different Linux's, it will be IMHO in the end faster to directly use grub4dos "manually", as it gives far more customization of the booting, expecially for the distro's with "uncommon" features.
