I am not sure where I got this one from exactly, may be from VistaPE. The Right Click Desktop Context Menu->Gadgets works, you get the dialog and you can drag gadgets onto the desktop. New gadgets installations do not work. With Ludovici's permission, I can attach a copy here or he can post an updated version here

Now let's get that NetworkCenter to work properly Anyone?

For sidebar in standard copy, missing Dll (If someone can help me to find the correct dll, thanks)
In full copy, it's better; but not optimal

Hi ludovici,

Can you make the changes for the gedgets summarized in a separate script? This could then be placed under tweaks.
I think its the best way.

So I than seach the missing dll'S

the optimizations will be indeed in the next version, in the end of the week if I find time, or next week.
There are plenty of good things, thank you in advance to all those who have participated .

There are good additions in your 2 scripts, I prefer a standalone script for sidebar (with the keys for the ContextMenu), I also think it's really the best way for the 2 scipts and for user.
For Sidebar, in fact, it lacks small things for certain Gadgets.
I am currently working on additional options (context Menu, Display) that you have added, thank you (even if I do not take them all).

I Will test my sidebar script in win7pe chrisR project. If success, i Will upload this night new explorer script ( or individual script, what is the better idea ?)

I wonder if you read this thread. May be you can help with fixing these top notch gadgets before integrating them into WinPE?

Now I splitted sidebar from explorer into a separate script.
You can place it in tweaks.
So you can find optimizations for it(now its experimtal).
The script needs explorer and IE8 for working.
Here you can test it:

Great work! I will try this out.

P.S. All of the extra scripts not part of WIN7PE_SE I put them in a folder called "Additional". This way I just copy the whole folder when I update to a new build.

Great, with the registrations classes included and for the autorun Gadget at startup .
There's just some particular gadget who does not work, not a big deal.

Ps: it will be in the next version (disabled by default).

I just tested the Windows Sidebar script! It works really well! I was even able to install downloaded gadgets from MS' web site - something that I couldn't do with the old one! Nice work with that split 2aCD!

ChrisR, your new release is going to rock with all these changes such as System Recovery fixes, Personalize, Windows Sidebar etc...
