Hello All,
I have a laptop with broken CD, and also does not support USB booting, I understand that last chance that I have is PXE booting. I have installed tftp32 server on my pc, I make connect to laptop with cross cable, I made setup of server, but when laptop boot it can not connect to PC. message is:
PXR-E51: No DHCP or Proxy DHCP offers received.
PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM.
I think that maybe server does not working correct, because there is not anything in log window. Could please help me with this issue?
Attached are my settings of server.
Thanks,
Regards,
Shapala

I meant the settings, as an example, you set a domain name "The Matrix" that is perfectly uneeded and possibly is the cause of the failure .
I have not enough experience/knowledge with TFTP32 and PXE booting to help you "properly", but I can give you some general advice, one of the things that greatly upsets me (as I find it completely unlogical) is people trying to follow for the first time a guide/tutorial and introducing changes to it (compare to points #d and #f3 in "common sense advice" :
http://www.boot-land...?act=boardrules
When you find a tutorial/guide you should at first follow it EXACTLY, to the letter, and only once THAT EXACT setup works introduce ANY variation.
If it does not work using the SAME, EXACT settings, try an other one, like this one:
http://www.boot-land...?...c=1961&st=4
Again following it EXACTLY.....

Hi Shapala,
Looks like TFTPD32 not receiving DHCP requests from your laptop. First thing to do is to make sure your Windows firewall (or other software firewall) on your serving PC is disabled. Next thing is physical connectivity. Check if network lights are on, cable is plugged in properly and is not faulty. I bet it's one of those things.

Andrius
