Anbox puts the Android operating system into a container, abstracts hardware access and integrates core system services into a GNU/Linux system. Every Android application will behave integrated into your operating system like any other native application.

 

Looks very easy to install and get running on modern Linux distros. Just not so easy to install apps inside of the box. Still, very interesting development taking place at http://anbox.io/

Still in Alpha. I like, the no emulation needed, part. Linux should have had  something like it by now. They should make app install as easy as dragging the app.apk into Anbox window to install the apps.
