Easy2Boot Actual HDD Space Needed For PTN3 & PTN4

Best Answer steve6375 , 03 February 2015 - 02:15 PM

You do not need any unused space left on the E2B drive. All that is required is that the table entries are empty.

E2B will use grub4dos to map an existing file as a partition

e.g. the start of an ISO file will be set as the start of p4 and the end of the file as the end of P4.

If I understand correctly, the MBR entries for PTN3 & PTN4 need to be left unused for Easy2Boot to make temporary use of.
How much actual space on HDD needs to be left unallocated for these entries?
Or will Easy2Boot use any unused clusters if all space is allocated to PTN1 & PTN2?
Thanks
