In steps 4 and 5 you created two new files - respectively - CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT.
Inside the D:My_Ghostbootimage.ima there are ALREADY the files AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS.
You need to replace the files inside the image with the ones you created.
You don't really-really need UltraISO to do this, you could use other tools like Winimage or Disk Explorer, or mount the .ima in a virtual disk drive such as Ken Kato's VFD or IMDISK or similar.

6.Open D:My_Ghostbootimage.ima by UltraISO (or any other your favorite program

,and change the files (AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS ) inside that
by the ones you have created above ,then save.

DiskExplorer:

Image Disk Explorer:

VFD:

GHOST.EXE -clone,MODE=pload,SRC=%CDROM%\IMAGE.GHO:1,DST=1:1

If i have a ghost image on a hidden partition which i would like to use with ghost 11.0.1. i would like to restore the ghost file on this partition, what would this line look like?? i think i have to change "SRC=%CDROM%\" because the file is not on the cd/dvd.

Can someone help me to make the correct file for automating my unattended ghost cd/dvd.

please reply to my emailadress: johanvanderleij@gmail.com

Hi all

for being able to use sata drives ,you should add GCDROM.SYS to your boot file.

i have maDE an ISO that supports SATA drives and uploaded that in link below:

http://www.mediafire...jrw5mtbbmwl20da

note that you should change youe ghost image name to MY_C.GHO  and put that inside iso.

Dear athrelia

i can just say two points :

1. Whenever, you get ghost image, it is essential to check that by ghost32.exe , to be sure it is good.

2.When you get ghost image of a partition, you can restore it in a partition that is atleast equal to

partition that you have got it's image.

if you try to restor in a partition that is less, most of the times you will get error during restore.

Hi athrelia

I do not know that i got your question correctly or not.

If you mean that you want to use your favorite name instead of MY_C.GHO , you can open Start.bat in root of

ISo by notepad and chang MY_C.GHO by any name you want.

But if question is other, please give me more information.
