L, take it easy man :cheerleader:.

Davide got simply upset:
http://reboot.pro/14117/

and temporarily suspended Sardu support on this Forum, it is not very clear (to me at least :) ) if he got upset just with me and my logical flaw highlighting :( or for any other reason (he privately mentioned to me a few, that I won't reveal).

Sardu is still fully available on it's homepage:
http://www.sarducd.it/

and on it's own Forum:
http://www.sarducd.it/forum/

So, sardu is some kind of bootable CD menu maker that creates built-in PE and/or allows us to remove virus with multiple antivirus recovery ISOs...(more like antivirus menus+tools+PE) hmmm :) using linux?? grub4dos

hey... this person is from WonkoLand :( Italy!? Posted Image I still don't see how useful this is to me,... specially now that all my stuff is from ramdisk and important stuff in password protected NAS.

I didn't knew that Davide had started another forum since January and that we are no longer the official discussion point for Sardu.

At this point I feel sad because at least a personal message or even public announcement would have been better than discovering in this manner that reboot.pro became secondary.

Nevertheless all this, I always keep hope that projects which we foster can one day help other projects getting noticed, exactly in the same manner as themselves were once helped. But some times this is not the case.

Well, time to keep on moving.

I wish all the best for Sardu, you've earned a position of respect in our family. We'll be here to help, as always.

Maybe this dude will not completely leave? one always remembers old home forum. In a way its not nice, kicking loyal fans like "linuxbaby" (the guy who created this thread) for those who... argue around (kind of makes you coward) :)

I don't understand :(

Someone warned me of new sections with similar SARDU? No.
There is another section with 23 moderators? No
Others user have discussed of hiren's without problems? Yes
When i released new version i opened always the thread here, after in my site. I never mentioned my forum, in my education this is spam. I have always reply all thread in this forum before my forum. In my site there is the link to this forum in all pages. What could I do more?
I have been accused of violating the rules ,publicly and not privately, in paragraph 1 and 2. Do you think is well for me to be treated as a pirate before my users?

You see someone intervene here? Or here? Talking about Hiren's 10.x (full warez)

I have violate the rules (was written publicly) and i'm self suspended. This is all.

With respect :cheerleader:

Davide

@L How can you participate in a discussion if you do not know what you talking about? I'm coward? Ok...other nice adjectives

Davide, are you really willing to kick your loyal fans for those who argue for fun :( ?

about: coward
If you choose to leave... then YES if not,... then you're a MAN! Hero! (well sort of... if you're female)

I've no idea of what happened... (because i'm lazy to read these days...) but, all I'm saying is don't QUIT and RUN! Fight like a MAN! (as long as it is civilized, i don't see any problem) :) This place makes me learn a lot when I fight and loose magnificently :cheerleader: I laugh on myself sometimes... :dubbio: (one example here)

:edit: please note that under no circumstances I'm trying to anger you here... ok?

Someone warned me of new sections with similar SARDU? No.

Different projects have different things to offer. For example, UNetBootin was here before SARDU.

Would it be fair to close the door to your project because UNetbootin was here before? We encourage people to bring and share innovation. If this is a problem, we could have simply talked about it.

There is another section with 23 moderators? No

I don't really remember why your section had the developer group also listed as moderator. All other sections should also share the same permissions or none at all. My apologies if this made you feel badly treated as it was not intentional. Again, you could have told something about this and I'd had it solved in 5 minutes.

If you look on the winbuilder sections, all .script developers moderate them. And they account for 50 people right now. This comes from the early days as boot land. One can't be online all the time to check what is happening and if some spammer or post gets misplaced, someone else jumps in to help. This is the spirit and the intention of having a section with multiple moderators.

People that belong to these groups are considered of trust even if opinions sometimes differ.

Others user have discussed of hiren's without problems? Yes

As far as I can tell, only Wonko is giving you a hard time because of that matter and that is something that you will need to deal at any given forum across the Internet.

Personally, I'm not that strict and I'm even talking with Hiren so that his project can become legal but this is a work in progress. So, instead of turning the Hiren subject into a tabu matter and go off treating badly others that need help, I am actively working to solve this matter for good. But that's my way of dealing with problems, each one handles them differently.

Have you ever asked what was my opinion about SARDU and Hirens when any other projects were discussing it?

When i released new version i opened always the thread here, after in my site. I never mentioned my forum, in my education this is spam.

You can mention your forum, place it on your signature and do whatever you consider necessary to further promote SARDU and we will help. I was just sad to learn this way that we are no longer the official location for discussing SARDU.

I have been accused of violating the rules.. ..Do you think is well for me to be treated as a pirate before my users?

We have rules and we also have good sense, please keep this in mind.

Isn't only Wonko.

Just my personal unimportant opinion:

  • In this forum never "Undistributables" should be made downloadable.
  • In this forum there never should be a link to "How download undistributables". But of course there can be a link to "Download from author"
  • If somebody critisizes the violation of #1 or #2, he should not be asked to "Not disturbe development".
Peter

SARDU have two offical forum, in sardu's site (also italian) and here. I think I have always followed this forum better than my. Times speak for themselves ;)
When i read this thread, when a user tell about me who i'm coward or female without know me or SARDU....I not offend anyone, why user can offend me?

Offended? ok... Wonko AND pscEx  lol? This is what its all about? commmmon grow up! Stop whining, crying like baby. No one enforced any action on you. (yet).

I said IF you run THEN you're 'coward' or 'female' ;) BUT since you are answering (which is good), you are NOT yet, any of those.

What will you do in your forum when people speak same like pscEx? run away?

Wait a minute: am I dealing with Italian or 15- here? :angry7: either of ways, its cool enough already that this so called "Sardu" made it to Project Forge and so many like it...

yes I wanted discussion with davide to keep him back in reboot.pro

can be here at all someone serious or you can just blaspheme?

I think here are often more children than "moderator" as presenters in the name of reboot.pro.

you want fun? ok.

why do you not say "sorry" and all is well?

;)

In Germany and in most civilized countries everybody can tell his personal opinion. (Maybe there are some restrictions due to rassism, pornographic, etc. contents).

When you explain me which of the unwritten rules I violated with presenting my opinion, I'll say 'sorry'.

Peter

My 2 cents.

Hope you want to stay for the fans of youre project. Some of the old timers on the forum do carry a big gravitational pull.

As for this example you would be the guy on the left. Neutral. While the guy(s) on the right, represents a big gravitational pull. Sometimes it will try to slow you down. As L says alot of the forums old timers argue for fun. It keeps the world moving sort of speak. If Nuno is not on youre back about doing something wrong then you are doing something right.

Some one to give you inspiration.
