I've got an XP install I want to do a repair install on but booting the CD with the following grub4dos entry, I don't get the Repair option. There's the "Press R for Recovery console" option on the first screen, but when it shows the partitions and I select the one with XP on, it only allows me to do a fresh install.

Title Repair XP

find --set-root --ignore-floppies /winvblock.ima
map --mem /winvblock.ima (fd1)
map --mem /winvblock.ima (fd0)
hide (hd0,0)
unhide (hd0,1)
hide (hd0,2)
map --mem /XPSP3Un_Repair.iso (0xff)
map --hook
chainloader (0xff)

(hd0,1) is my XP partition and the other two are Win7 partitions. I seem to need to map winvblock.ima or else the installer BSOD quite soon after starting.

I know the availabilty of the repair option depends on the WINNT.SIF, but I thought I'd created this one correctly (I might be getting my ISOs mixed up though, as I've got a few knocking about).

Try not to hide the partition where boot.ini is, Setup searches for available Windows installs using paths in it.
Try also to comment out UnattendedInstall="yes" in DATA section.

Thanks. boot.ini should be on the unhidden (hd0,1) but I'll check and also try commenting out that line.
