I've got an XP installation on the HDD under which I've created an RDP shortcut on the desktop, which when clicked automatically logs on to the XP server.

I've also built an XP img following wimb's Universal XP guide under which I can't get this to work. I've changed the Workgroup name to MSHOME to match the server (it's set to this in the "normal" XP) and saved the credentials using the correct format MSHOME\Lyn) using control userpasswords2 but even though it shows Username: MSHOME\Lyn greyed out in the client, the login box appears with blank username and password. If I tick "Always ask for credentials" it changes to Username: Lyn and when I connect it automatically enters Lyn but still requests a password (as I'd expect).

I imagine there's probably some service or something that's disabled in XP-1.img and not in the "normal" XP that is causing this function not to work and would be grateful if anyone could help me get it working.
