Suppose, someone is running multiple applications where each of them requires Internet connectivity & its own bandwidth. Evidently, Internet usage of all of them will not be the same. VoIP software like Skype will eat up significant amount of bandwidth while a mail checker will use up probably few KBs per hour. Is there any freeware which lets us to track down individual Internet usage of Internet aware softwares?

Netlimiter allows you to do that, but it's not freeware.
